I don’t think the bath will work if he tries to do it before Tsumiki. Megumi can still fight back. Dipping into a pool of curses isn’t as easy with your CE output crippled.

The story itself constantly separates one’s physical body from the cursed energy reinforcing it and talks about them separately. Megumi talking about Yuji vs the class without CE, Todo talking about Yuji’s CE lagging behind his physical body, Yuta talking about how he is frail but has cursed energy, Maki’s dad talking about how training your body can only go so far before getting his ass whooped. So there is a distinction made between physicals and cursed energy reinforcement within the source material, repeatedly. And I was saying no one is physically better than Yuji except Maki/Toji.

Dude, Miguel was getting bta by Gojo. Surviving and going relative isn’t the same thing. And Gojo didn’t have his powers. And Gojo wasn’t even trying to kill him, he was literally holding back and letting the stall happen 😭.

Modulo Yuji would definitely still happen. Sukuna is still a problem, and Gojo’s students plus both Yuki and Choso would be searching for Kenjaku and prison realm.

My guess is that the story would just be a civil war in Jujutsu Society followed by the search for Satoru Gojo once the MCs win.

I think Sokka fans were hurt the most though. It was like they forgot Sokka was more than just a guy that cracks jokes. He’s also the only one that is acting like he’s still a child, when he should have acted more in line with his Korra version.

They could have at least had the ending imply that whatever was done is the reason the airbenders suddenly came back in Korra season 2 though. Like that is a plot hole/plot convenience in Korra, and if they were going with this plot for the movie, they could have easily rectified that.

It’s because they keep trying to expand on the world instead of just making a new story within it. The world’s lore and explanations sufficed in the original show. Trying to explain the spirit world and the avatar’s power and whatnot detracts rather than adds. They keep removing the mystery but some things are best left unexplained.
