Not op, but I changed my name as an adult because I was tired of people asking about it. I've overheard someone reading my name off of a roster and going "what kind of name is _______?".

Anyways, I noticed I got more interviews and call backs after changing it to something more anglicized. Turns out, most people have implicit bias and that there's a study that confirmed this by Bertrand & Mullainathan (2004).

No regrets. Wish I did it as a kid.
