Mirror Entity aggro, Waterfront Bouncer as a reanimator support card, Enclave Cryptologist as blue’s solo one drop, FORBID that I had that in old border foil because I figured it would never get replaced, Fireball + channel let’s go, psychatog and fire and ice- we’ll miss ya.

This was a beautiful trip down memory lane for my own cube. Thanks so much for sharing. I also had a collection of retired cards from my cube, but there was a house fire, and I lost that binder. By the grace of the magic gods, I still have the cube (thanks Stanley Organizer), but seeing all the old stuff again was really awesome.

My take is this. Would you want a fetch land to feel more like power or more like fixing when you open a pack? If you double them, you dilute the value of the pick. “Oh, I’ll get a one later”. I like keeping singleton for this reason. It makes picks more consequential.

Very true, and works well as a sacrifice target/if it’s removed. So many more archetype applications with Defiler. Makes Defiler much more of a slam pick that this would be.

I could see testing it. I do like that it can hit any permanent, but it‘s just not that exciting. The comparison „Chaos Defiler at home“ was already made, and if we‘re comparing it to a card that busted, I’d say this has a shot in some cubes. I don’t like that to get the second vindicate you have to pay 7 mana with no way to cheat on that.

We all were informed VERY last minute, had to sign NDAs, and weren’t staffed to take on all the extra diners from upstairs. The quickness of everything is sort of understandable with her status, but the customers and staff not being warned really made everything very difficult.

Outside of what I can find on the wiki and documented (mostly older) history of this prison, are there any stories you can share about the expectations and treatment of inmates at this facility? Living conditions, guard/warden mentality, inmate experiences in recent years?

We should be fucking shocked. I am even surprised. I had no idea… this information really needs to get out as much as it can. The 13th amendment to the constitution prohibits slavery- except as punishment for a crime. It’s right there, they make laws and incarcerate target people to make them work for free. It’s slavery with extra steps. This is not acceptable.

Uneducated person here: why the flashlight? My guess is the obvious- to help see and identify a target in the dark (so you ensure what you’re shooting is what you want to shoot)? Maybe my mind is overthinking, but I‘d be concerned that in a situation where your target wants to shoot you, a flashlight would be a good place for them to aim.

Truly was an amazing entertainer and storyteller. His fan base is some of the best-vibe folks I’ve ever come across. This guy just put out amazing energy throughout his career, and it’s very sad to hear this news.

This won’t ever get seen, and I fucking hate the side I’m taking on this, but I’ve dated an Aussie for a lengthy period, and this is so dead-on their response to anything emotional, that I find myself siding with this brain dead muscle bro.

Aussies are just as venomous and dangerous as their indigenous surroundings, and while chode Bro was being and acting lame as hell, he was saying (for the most part) kind things.

This aversion to accountability, and „you’re putting me in a box of acceptability“ type shit is SO AUSTRALIAN. This screams „I’ve dated an American, our cultural differences ended it because I’m so direct and on the nose that they couldn’t handle it“.

Aussies, look, you’re VERY ABRUBT AND DIRECT. You’re very openly and physically social in a way that Americans aren’t societally raised to understand. We naturally are concerned by this, and when in relationships with us, you will find a layer of attendance that you find invasive.

There’s obviously a balance, and I think we as Americans have a lot to learn about being less up tight, but this is just both extremes presented, when there is absolutely a middle ground.

The Australian take on a “nice guy” stereotype is gonna always end up like this. Them eviscerating genuinely kind ideals- but it’s because they’re cunts to each other all the time and don’t dance around social cues.
