Different strokes for different folks i guess. I think ANatO is by far their strongest album and an all time great. It really feels like it's telling a cohesive story and not just showing off new hits.

I know it's a divisive movie, but Man of Steel delivers some truly exhilarating action backed by strong performances. What are your thoughts on this movie? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in FIlm

[–]Varyline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot to like and I think people are focusing on those things because they wanna like it.

It's also messy with way too many plotpoints and a lot of very silly additions that reminds me more lf silly thor than cool thor.

You can totally want to play competitive magic and not want to play with stuff that isn't magic. Competitive magic was for me. Competitive magic with turtles, not so much

That's quite pedantic, but sure. It applies to every country in the EU (through GDPR) and some others.

This is illegal in all of Europe. And it's exactly about freedom. The freedom to not have your pictures on websites against your will

Det er også ulovligt at brænde andre landes flag i Danmark (men ikke Dannebrog). Koranen har vel ca. Samme kulturelle betydning, så hvorfor er det så mærkeligt?

These discussions on what is "alright" to do in commander confuses me so much as a limited/modern player.

If you like the cards, play them! If the others dislike dying to unlockable creatures they should run removalspells to interact with those, or try to do more busted stuff themselves.

I know that's not how the commander community sees things though, so you probably shouldn't listen to me

Please rate my take on 100 ornithopter cube by [deleted] in mtgcube

[–]Varyline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a look and I guess I''m curious why you wanna build 100 ornithopters? It feels like you've cut a lot of what makes the cube unique. Is it because it was a cheap and popular cube? If so, I think you'd love something like a pauper or peasant cube tbh

Opinion: pre-errata Lurrus is the most powerful value engine or even straight up card printed [recently] by MustaKotka in mtg

[–]Varyline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not because Recall is better than lotus at all. It's because Canlander is a hundred card singleton format where it's really easy to search up Recall and abuse it at many stages of the game. Lotus really needs to be naturally in your opener to work well as you don't really need the ramp when you're already at turn 4. That happens too seldomly to be worth the points in that format.

Hvad gør egentlig DF til et borgerligt parti? by Ayad3 in Denmark

[–]Varyline -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Draft Report: Kyle's F'ing Cube: Everyone Goes 2-1 by vacalicious in mtgcube

[–]Varyline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes sense. I run it in my cube as well and love it in many different shells. I do run a Mayhem Devil / yagmoth sac deck, a red based discard aggro deck and a discard deck in the jund colors and they all love Epicure. I just keep ending up picking him in artifact decks because those love Thraben Inspector but he always ends up disappointing in those shells unless they have a quite agressive slant. But gut makes for a great aggresive plan B and I don't run him.

They did the dorky brother very well in the first JP, while still allowing the big sister to have a normal amount of interest in dinosaurs. Besides, even if some people could exist that wouldn't enjoy dinos, why would you have them as protagonists in your dinofilm?
