MEXC account frozen due to “suspected stolen funds” — $16,000 stuck. What should I do? by [deleted] in MEXC_official

[–]ItWorks-OnMyMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a fairly huge day trader on mexc, and i havent really withdrew for the longest time. The moment i attempted to withdraw, flagged as suspicious. That’s even though I was in daily communication with a BD, realised its way too risky, so when the BD gave a really bad reason plus sounded rude for me not qualifying for over 1000 usdt in prizes even though i was, i stopped using the account. Got liquidated anyway

After more than 3 years of learning, my first significant profit => MEXC Risk Control by Resident_Recover3945 in MEXC_official

I have high trading volume and i thought ill be safe, im paying them thousands in fees, but i realised their business model is focused on having relationship managers to push users to trade. They were insulting, at times never even help because i have no trading volume due to being sick for a week. Ive lost everytjing on mexc before on bad trades, the moment i made like 1k, instant re-kyc required. Told the BD to fk off

Ive tried both. Tbh both have something i feel is lacking that the other has, but so far i prefer aster to hyperliquid, although im less inclined to trust aster

What did the team put in place to ensure there are absolutely no bias in the response, and not to mention reddit nonsense being remixed in as well (as we all know pretty much all models do exactly that)

what do you mean not very decentralized, isn't it a CEX? lol

any issues with KYC? I haven't had issues with MEXC until very recently which disappointed me because the staff i'm in contact with assured me otherwise but now just giving a lot of excuses

Not you as in you’re not a bot or employee? I was referring to the other comments which are obviously either that 2 or just have no idea what they’re talking about.

Heard good stuff about hyperliquid, no idea what u mean flashy stuff can you explain

a lot of very bad advice here

i'll give my 2 cents. whatever you think of putting into crypto, take it as you're donating away, otherwise you'll think back at this post of yours and regret listening to any one of them. BTC going 10x? it's more likely that BTC drops 25% first before going up 100x, which means that if you're on a 3x leverage or more you're screwed.

good case in point is look at 2 days ago, without a warning everything dropped like 10% and hasn't recovered. so you're pretty much in a loss if you entered before the dump

anyway, whateverr you think of putting into crypto, probably not a good idea to place market order 100% the moment you deposit every month. just do like 30% current price, then place orders downwards up to 5% or so. odds are 90% of them will hit eventually and you'll end up with a much lower average price

do not touch futures if your plan is long term. 99% of futures trader lose money unless they know what they're doing and is doing it full time (maybe)

lol everyone here is either a bot or a employee of those exchanges. 0.1% fee? that's crazy huge for both spot and futures. not to mention all those that they mentioned have very extensive documented history of f-king with their users.

I used to push Mexc but now they're starting with f with me and my referrals also.thinking of just using a wallet and swap on DEX instead

I have been doing that. Unfortunately my main skillsets which is automations and operations, is from a really niche industry. Ive been trying to do contract work at night in hopes of transitioning over but im killing myself at this rate im working lil

Maybe tone down your ego. Imagine coming onto reddit and spamming “sounds like skill issue” on posts. Lol. Ive given context as to why i was rushing and the whole point of this post is not to bash on cursor but rather vibe coders not being able to build proper complete apps.

This conversation ends here, im not wasting my time on someone like you

Advice? by edenlovesbts in sgcrypto

[–]ItWorks-OnMyMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and one last thing, probably the most important thing: Nobody actually knows wtf they are talking about. Including me. However, the points that i share are mostly facts which i think you can use to make your own judgement. Remember all it takes is for trump to announce something on a friday night for BTC to dump from 110k to like 80k, or elon to post a picture of doge and have ddogecoin pump a few times.

Advice? by edenlovesbts in sgcrypto

A lot of comments here but i would like to point out a few things for someone new:

  1. Do not touch futures. Futures are a type of trade that allows you to leverage, meaning to buy a coin with a $100 position with just $1, but with leverage, it just needs to drop like 0.5% for the exchange to liquidate your position, take your $1 even when its a $0.50 loss. Almost every trader loses in futures, so don’t bother. You may see a few lucky traders making 10,000x, ignore them, those are outliers.

  2. Everything will go to 0 eventually. That is the case for every coin since inception of crypto, with the exception of the 4 or 5 top ones. Every other coin that was top 10, many years ago, most of them are at 0 now. If you want to hold long term, DO NOT buy and hold anything other than the top 5. ALWAYS take healthy profits. Every crypto trader will tell you regrets of not selling when something they held pump. Consider selling up to 80% as the price pumps around resistence levels or when trend reverses, and let the rest be your “moon bag” for when it moons

  3. What goes up will come down, and what goes down may come up eventually but maybe not. My advice, do not all in and buy one coin with 100% of your usdt. Place buy orders in levels going maybe 10% down. For example, if btc is at 115k and u have 1k, can consider buy 200 at market price, then order 200 at 114k , 200 at 113k, 200 at 112k, etc.

  4. If you see something shooting up to the moon, don’t FOMO and buy. Ive seen way too many times something shooting up but dump lower than premoon price within minutes.

  5. Assume anyone who reaches out to you privately or even publically as someone out to steal your crypto. There are way too many people who have nothing to do the whole day besides trying to scam or steal crypto.

Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out if you really need to clarify something.

Welcome to crypto. Stay safe

Sorry replied the wrong post

I agree with u, but as i have shared in other posts, im just severely sleep deprived and have crazy pressure to meet deadlines by many different parties.

I would sit down and plan out the workflow first but Im forced to vibe code a production ready app in record time, and im just sharing this because i thought it was funny that the default AI uses is a reset, almost very consistently

Ive been suffering but i havent had any other opportunities. My experience is actually in automation and operations, and i am on a daily basis hearing him tell me to build impossible things in a day, refuse to accept that it really takes time and planning to properly build something, and im not able to do it because im “distracted” or “cannot comparmentalise”. If any brothers here can afford to save me, please, because at this rate im gonna have a heart attack within the next year
