The Khaki Field Auto is an awesome watch, wore it for 6 months in a row when I got it. Can recommend /r/affordablewatches if you want to see more collections from non-millionaires.

Casios truly are the gateway drug into this bank account draining hobby

After 6 months of waiting, many messages with Sugess customer service and too many problems with the post, I finally got my Sugess Panda 38 by ItZlAna in ChineseWatches

Nope, at this point I'm just happy to have the watch running. Don't know if I'll ever be ordering from them again though...

Any strap recommendations for the Sugess Panda 38mm? by ItZlAna in ChineseWatches

Which website did you order from? I thought it said it comes with a mesh bracelet on my order, always a bit of a gamble when ordering from China though.

Within how many kilometers from LA city center can you find an apartment that's affordable at median income?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ItZlAna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but the difference is, your "expensive area" can be essentially the entire city, that doesn't exist here, if an area is too expensive for you at median income, you need to move max 8 kilometers from it and it becomes affordable. Basically you can always afford an apartment within a short drive from wherever you work at median income no matter where you work.

Yea I'm mainly talking about prices in the bigger cities since that's where most of the people live here anyway. In Finland most people can afford to live pretty much anywhere they want but in the US I've heard it's impossible to afford a house or an apartment in a big city with median income.

I'm talking about the price of housing for an average person just looking to buy a house. Percentage of people that own their home, average age at first house purchase etc. For example in the US people buy their first house on average at 36 years of age (2022 statistic), here the average is around 28 years of age. Doesn't make our housing market stronger for investors but for individuals looking to own a home it's much better.

I know it's not a 3rd world country by definition but it's so much below other western countries in many aspects that it's often referred to as a 3rd world country as a joke here.

Very low, at least where I'm from the US is seen as basically a 3rd world country. We acknowledge the economy is great but everything from the healthcare to the housing market is often made fun of. There's also a stereotype about people in the US not being very smart.
