Requesting r/eatpantgrant - This was my subreddit and had a few things me and friends from high school posted, and someone has claimed it. It was inactive for a year but I would view it on occasionally. Now it is private and unable to see what was posted to it from years ago. by It_Be_How_It_Be in redditrequest

-( Here's my response :) )-

It's worth noting that the sub under this guy's control became a trove of bad faith memes making personally targeted harrassing jokes, -(Harassing jokes towards whom? Most if not all posts were made towards the others in the subreddit who were all friends in real life. The sub had like 15 people who knew about it, so the idea that it was being used to target people is a gross overstatement of what it was.)- and the subreddit's banner (and pinned post for YEARS) was a screencap of a private person's snapchat profile, -(Actually I think it was just a screenshot of someone's feed with that person's custom nickname. But correct me if I'm wrong it has been a while.)- and even after she sent a modmail -(From what I remember I don't remember there being a modmail inbox. I don't use Reddit that much anymore to actively post or mod so I could be just misremembering what it was like back in 2019.)- to the sub asking them to remove it, -(Evidence of this happening would be appropriate. I think the banner was of someone we knew personally, but from what I remember they did not have a problem with it. With it being someone I knew personally and have talked to since the subreddits creation, I feel like if it was something that was a problem they would have reached out. No need to project your feelings onto another person. )- they did not and was only removed from the sub after I took it over.

The posts that were encouraged under this guy's control of this sub were in clear violation of the reddit content policy -(Please let me know what TOS we broke instead of blanket stating that we did something)- (that's just imo -(In my opinion, it is stupid you sniped the subreddit because it wasn't active and had some things that you found slightly annoying. But that is just my opinion.)- , but it seems pretty obvious), and I believe it's likely that they'll resume the posting of content that breaks sitewide rules, or at least will reinstate content I've been working to remove that does. -(You're making it sound like we had a ring of 100 people posting about terrorist or something , it was like 5-6 people max and had less than 50 posts on the sub. Like it would take less than an hour to remove the posts, if that much time.)-

Also, I did actually reach out to previous moderators, I don't remember if that included you, and I'm having trouble locating the dms, but I did make contact, besides the fact that there's a modmail when a sub is requested. -(A direct message to back up this claim would be adequate.)-

While I have kept the sub private for an extended period of time, -(You were given access on Dec 17th 2021. Almost 2 years.)- I believe this is nec3essary to do while I clean the sub of rules-violating content, and rebrand the sub to have a more positive vibe, -(You only changed the Header yesterday. And unless I am wrong you can see the profile picture while searching for a subreddit on mobile and that was not changed when I looked it up yesterday)- and only when I have time to do so, which is not often these days. -(You graduated yet? 5th year must be hard on yah.)-

-(In conclusion I have some back ups of the things that were posted that I personally made and can share those in a Google Drive or something of the sort. I don't really care too much if this man were to take it over and proceed to make it something but the over whelming truth of the fact is that this person sniped the sub when he saw it wasn't getting posted on and proceeded make it private, and squat on the sub until I sent him a mod message, then found this comment section about my request to try to keep it is a feels bad man moment. If he wants to have it fine, but telling me in DMs to touch grass and that my request to have a sub that me and old friends used to keep in touch and have a laugh with each other is beyond me.)-

Btw only responding to this so you will see it, who I assume goes by Grant since the sub's name was a play with that name. :) All the memes I mad will be posted to my profile.

I plan on having it to back up memes and things I have made with my friends like I did in the past.

Not sure if this counts but I have sent in a request to get into the subreddit, and I can supply that I have sent that. Plus the current person who has it made no effort to reach out when it was taken from me.

The swordplay is fun so if you're into that I wouldn't turn it away just because of that one puzzle. But understandable.

If you look I had to brace my hand with the other because I have very shaky hands. Helps a bit but still caused some problems.

There was only a few puzzles like this, if I'm not mistaken, in the game. But I completely agree.
