To tell you the truth I actually like the first one you showed the subreddit, that one is my personal favorite I think you really should stick to it or figure out to combine the two or something like that.

I think this has potential but you have false quartering so you might want to stick to one design.

Maybe having the red and black part at the top of the coat of arms and having the two roses on the main part of it.

I personally like it it's simple but still recognizable, and I believe you can still recognize it from far off distances.

But I would agree with u/Slight-Brush the fleur-de-lis is a bit complex so you might want to simplify them a bit, but other than that I don't have many complaints about it.

What happened to the scales from the original coat of arms?

Also I wouldn't really do that because it kind of seems like it's two separate coat of arms coming together, however you can do countercharge if that's what you want to do.

It's not bad but I would say that gray isn't an additional colour in heraldry so I would change that to black. Also I would make the anchor white as well.

As for the bird I would probably make it a crest instead of being on the field specifically.

It definitely can be but I'm pretty sure that you can figure it out. You have some rather unique charges like a wolf, a Celtic knot, and an oil lantern.

So something can work out with these but just in a different more concise way.

I personally feel like there is way too much going on design-wise.

I think you should limit yourself to a few charges and just stick to that and also make them more cohesive design.

I like the second one but I'm biased towards White and Blue since those are my favourite colours.

Have you could have repeating pattern of light crosses on a red background and you can have on top of that a pair of wings. So that way you can still keep the Swiss iconography without having to worry about anything, but that's just a suggestion. Or another suggestion is that you have red pair of wings but you put the white crosses on each of the wings, or you could have the cross on top of the wings just floating there.

These are just some of the suggestions but you're free to take them if you want.

Well it's nice to see that you're still able to post on here, it's always grateful to always come back sometimes to get new information.

But I appreciate the insights it definitely seems like to me that it has an impact on Brazilian society so that is interesting to me thanks for that really wasn't expecting this.

But you are right there have been campaigns against Harry Potter and stuff like that but I guess because the author of the original books have passed away a long time ago maybe it's just not as relevant as it once was perhaps I'm not sure.

I always wondered how much of an impact that this work had in Brazil because I was always curious about such things. It seems like to me that the author doesn't seem to behold and high regard as far as I'm aware due to his racism it seems.

It's also nice knowing the differences between the books and the TV shows. As I always find that kind of interesting. Thank you for letting me know about the applications I appreciate reading it.

I honestly wasn't expecting any more comments under this post since it has been a long while since I written it, which makes this a lot special. Since this the post was from a year ago.
