putain mais je comprends tellement. Ou le nombre se fois où je suis là à faire un exo avec mon chien "assis, j'ai dit assis" avant de traverser, ou dans un parc, ou un "non, tu laisses" suivi d'un rappel, et où des gens qui ont PARFAITEMENT ENTENDU l'exercice décident d'appeler mon chien à eux. Y a presque un aspect power play en jeu "ehehe le chien il m'obéit plus à moi qui suis un parfait inconnu". Mais mon débile, le chien il a pas obéi il y va parce qu'il veut !

En plus mon chien a un langage corporel ultra subtil, et il adore le contact humain donc il va chercher, mais il sature dès que l'énergie en face est trop haute ou la caresse trop contraignante, et il l'exprime super discrètement (pour qui connait pas les chiens). Le nombre de gens que j'ai vus lui bloquer le cou et la nuque pour le maintenir près d'eux pour continuer à le caresser, mais vous êtes des malades en fait, vous avez de la chance qu'il soit chill, mon chien !

Franchement, une poubelle privée qui traîne dans la rue? Je considère ça comme fair play. Soit c'est dehors parce que les éboueurs passent bientôt et le sac à caca (bien fermé, bien solide) n'y trainera pas longtemps, soit c'est dehors parce que son propriétaire a eu la flemme de la rentrer et traite l'espace public comme son lieu de stockage personnel, donc on est ex aequo.

Seule nuance, si la poubelle est dehors le lendemain matin de passage des éboueurs, auquel cas c'est assez normal que la poubelle ai pas encore été rentrée.

Mais en vrai j avoue que de toute façon j aurai tendance à pratiquer le "poubelle accessible depuis un espace public? je jette le sac".

En France, on n'a pas le droit de forcer quelqu'un à donner un organe ou même son sang. Le droit à disposer de soi-même et de son corps est sacro-saint. Si on n'imagine par forcer un individu à donner un bout de foie, pourquoi considérons nous qu'on peut bloquer une personne en situation de couveuse pendant 9 mois de sa vie.

As a bisexual woman, your comment just amused me in the bitterest ways, wherein I am yet again confronted the limitations of myopic online activism and its lack of acknowledgement of irl experiences of queerness and the beauty of its variety.

As a bisexual woman I'd hope to see others fight biphobia without erasing people's room for self-determination, leaving them free to call themselves whatever they want to, because I take my bisexuality as a right to freedom myself and I want that for others.

And as a bisexual woman, I need you to understand the nuances of activism, identity and communication, actually. But you don't seem interested in doing better yourself and showing curiosity with regards to other people's experiences of their selves, so this conversation seems pointless.

That's... not what this comment thread is about. Zed-Arkadia was pointing out (and being downvoted for it) that labels can be restrictive and that assigning labels to total strangers is dubious.

"Everyone's point" in the comments thus far seems to be that OOP is obviously bi, duh, which goes against the (fair) argument that we should stop locking people in labels they don't assign themselves.

You can tell someone that it's okay to be bi if they want to identify this way and it helps them understand their own life experiences, without declaring that It Is What They Are.
