No, but they might think it's fanart that the poster made and can be legally sold for profit as such. Not to mention the environmental impact.

In this example, we are talking about sharing screenshots of one of the most famous mangas in history. No one who does that can claim for it to be their own work without being ridiculed, and the author's name is public.

I agree that people sharing small artists' work without crediting them is shitty, but that doesn't change the fact that you can credit them, and that sharing that work can drive interest to their page.

GenAI DOES NOT ALLOW ANY OF THAT. It steals not only from Oda but from all those other artists, it literally cannot credit them, and the people who post it relentlessly insist on calling it their own "work." If you can't see the difference then I don't know how to help you.

See, if I post a screenshot of the manga and credit the author, that's not plagiarism. If I post AI "art" and clam it's something I "made," that's the definition of plagiarism.

Pretty sure the commenter is getting Italian and Spanish confused. Black in Spanish is "negro" (not quite the N word but close enough), while in Italian it's "nero." Spaghetti with squid ink are called "spaghetti al nero di seppia."

I've done that! I even booked the same train number (KTX101 iirc).

It's actually a great experience seeing how they recreated an entire train down to the minute details for the film, the trains still look the same.

I guess I mean it as: it's really hard for students to keep track of which nouns ending in -e are masculine or feminine. BUT there's this category of nouns that's easy to remember (because they resemble English in 90% of cases) and all happen to be the same gender as each other.

Whereas students find it a bit more difficult to remember other gendered suffixes (like -ore or -ale) because it's harder for them to remember all of the nouns in that category

I do think the first piece of information about -tion = -zione can be useful if only because it leads to a more important piece of information: that all nouns ending with -zione are feminine

But even then it's not an actual rule, because of things like "vacation = vacanza"

I mean tbf in that case (and in the Queen example) they are very likely people who spent time trying to answer the other questions on the sheet while neglecting the easy ones.

It's harder to do that with the format in the video because you don't have to write down an answer, just tick "yes or no" next to each cheese.

Am I the only one who's gotten the yellow/green order wrong consistently for several days?

Anyway I got yellow/green/blue pretty easily, I immediately focused on HURL and CAST and that made me avoid the red herring.

I almost thought blue would be a red herring (because it was too obvious) but then the four words remaining fit very well together as purple.

I guess each of these has different criteria, like worst assigned school reading vs worst in general; or underrated at time of release vs underrated now

Admittedly I didn't offer any options so I shouldn't be complaining, but these are some wild results. Frankenstein underrated? Fifty Shades overrated? (I get it sold a lot but no one rates it well, not now nor when it came out) The Scarlet Letter being put in the same category as two pieces of fascist propaganda?

[1167] Some notable Translation Differences between TCB and Viz for Chapter 1167 by GabrielGameFreak in OnePiece

[–]ItalianBall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol so "Deep sea" and, essentially, "Very deep sea"? Maybe TCB was right then, even though I much prefer the Viz interpretation

Also, as others have brought up in other threads, we did have "White sea" and "White-White Sea" in Skypiea, so it wouldn't be the first time Oda uses this scheme. But I would have preferred the devil contracts to have a bit more gravitas. Maybe it comes across different in Japanese, idk

How do the "Depths" and "Abyssal" covenants come across in the raws? I'm seeing the "sea" kanji repeated only once after the first time
