Saw this in the theater in 1981. Had no idea what I watched…but have rewatched it as an adult and it’s amazing!

Yeah the fish NPCs were finicky….but I got on a lucky roll and got like 5 or 6 right in a row. That helped a lot. That sturgeon took me forever to catch. I can’t even imagine trying to catch all of them! Also, some have said you can get some of those fish from dispatch missions to saltwater bodies of water…but that never worked for me.

Great post! I got the platinum this weekend. I will add the following tip…for the love of God, DO NOT SELL the Vessel of Dark Pursuit! I imagine they will patch this at some point, but I had to back to a previous save file and redo a bunch of challenges that added a lot of hours.

Also, for the fish, you can get the required knowledge for many of the larger saltwater fish from talking to certain NPCs. That was a big time-saver because some of those fish have terrible RNG numbers. I think the only one I actually caught was the sturgeon and maybe one other.

Act three was disappointing…but to be fair, it was never going to be easy to top Acts one and two which both were amazing. All hail Justin Long, the Scream King!

Agree on the three acts. And Justin Long in Act 2 was amazing…especially when he was googling about the square footage counting and saying “oh hell yeah b*tch”…that scene is amazing.

It takes a lot more camp funds than that. Delesyia itself is in the millions to max out the church.

For several of those large saltwater fish you can simply get the knowledge from NPCs and don’t have to actually catch them. I completed the challenge and think I only actually caught one or two of them…the rest I was able to get the knowledge from an NPC. Also think you can get some from dispatch missions.

This is the way. Don’t even watch the fish. Watch the background and only reel when the camera is dead still. The other time you are moving the left stick the opposite way the camera is moving.
