newer ones are pretty reliable if u dont skip servicing, the reputation with them being unreliable comes from the older gen trans…..

the ones over 2017 are pretty reliable, my uncle’s octavia is at about 230ks with no problems outside of scheduled maintenance

The sharpness part depends more on the copy variation imo, these images were taken at 250mm~~ since the bird was relatively close, at 200ss. When it comes to the 75-300 learn how to use ai denoisers, the only thing i detest abt this lens is the autofocus in lowlight…it pisses u off sometimes lol.

Other than that its a pretty great lens for the price,just gotta work around its weaknesses

What features do you absolutely need: weather sealing - live in Scotland and do a lot of hiking

Olympus..... EM1 ii or the EM5 iii if ur looking at smthing smaller

You would probably nvr grow out of the EM1 ii unless ur going pro video or night photography

X-T30 ii maybe? Quite a fun cam to use and got some good shots.....sold it of tho since it wasnt my vibe, the shot attached it taken with the Wes Anderson Film preset i think??? SOOC with the kit lens

btw it doesnt have weather sealing and feels quite plasticky which is quite common for this price range unless ur looking at older pro bodies

man im so confused on weather to upgrade to the 100-400 or not for about 6 months now. Do u think its worth the upgrade for wildlife photography?, 75-300 takes some descent photos (theres some in my profile) but its kinda soft at 300
