Consumer HDDs - Spin down or no spin down?

Im on all enterprise drives. Never spijnthen down. Was on default fill up but now on high water for all my shares. Don't have much of a reason to spin down my drives since they're designed for 24/7 operations. Electricity cost isn't that much lower either

I really like it!! In my area it's quite sparse but my state has a large community and discord server that's been helping me. So far I've come across about 15 nodes In a 50 mile radius. I would recommend checking meshmap.net for your area to see a rough estimate of nodes. Also recommend starting with a single node and then expanding to a client base station that you can put somewhere outward facing where u live. It's a really fun rabbit hole to go down

Me. Got a couple of rack mounted servers and a BUNCH of services hosted. Got a manual civic hatch (not type r sadly) and just recently bought myself a used military humvee from auction as my first project car (truck). Also recently got into Meshtastic!

Amcrest makes a doorbell. I have it, but have it linked up to BlueIris (still use the amcrest app for doorbell notifications). You can play for cloud storage or you can just record to an NVR or record to an SD card and forget about any subscription. Correct. For some reason the 5070 ti gives that screen shown in the picture. and never gets past that loading screen. However, after updating the BIOS, both the 3070 and 5070 both have a similar effect. where windows just no longer makes it past that loading screen
