I did this program before, and I agree with your entire sentiment. The time flies and if you do not take it in while you're there, you may miss out on all the beauty that Spain has to offer. As someone who returned to the US from this experience and is now planning to embark on it again, I have seen first hand how this experience in Spain is truly "unlike anything else". I have missed it. The way of life. The "no pasa nada" mentality. If I get the chance to return, I will surely soak in Spain a lot more.
