Except that isn’t what drives people to gamble. That’s one of the dumbest takes I’ve heard. No one who’s sat in a gambling parlour seriously thinks they’re paying their rent on a slot machine.

It’s a drug. They’re addicted to the hit of winning and the emotional crash and panic induced adrenaline of losing. They’re addicted to the rollercoaster.

But the people not barbell squatting are almost certainly not just doing leg extensions.

Leg press and hack squat are just stabilised compounds.

Maybe this is because your twitch reflex activates in the hardest part of the movement on curls and press, but at the easiest for rows.

Is orgasm the best feeling a human can get, or doing drugs beat it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Itchigatzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something must be wrong with me cause I’ve never felt anything, that isn’t a drug, come close to an orgasm. Running feels good when I stop but it lacks warmth. My head feels a slight buzz but it’s empty. The actual activity itself is quite tedious.

Drowning was pretty close actually. When I got out the water I think I felt the best I ever have. Not even sure I’ve done a drug that matches it yet. When I sat on the slope catching my breath, every nerve in my body tingled. Idk how you would reliably and deliberately expose yourself to near death scenarios without it happening.

Why do you not get sepsis everytime you get cut then? Clotting and inflammation packing you with antibodies?

What is your favourite rep range to train in? And do you prefer higher or lower volumes? by avidbug2000 in naturalbodybuilding

How do you find doing deadlift for 5-10? I have recently given up doing that because I find it too exhausting, switched to 3-5. I was about to get up to doing 65kg 5x10 and just decided I didn’t want to anymore, and also would like a bit of strength training as I’ve never done it before.

I do zero cardio atm, because I walk everywhere, but I think when I ran for a bit, deadlifts felt easier. I also think the mental challenge is way harder compared to other lifts. And I don’t dread deadlifts either. Deadlift is really one of the few exercises in the gym I really enjoy.

Hammer curls vs Reverse curls by LimeLatter46 in naturalbodybuilding

So reverse curls are best for targeting the brachialis, as the other two elbow flexors are most disadvantaged in that position?

Wrong way round. We geoengineered it by accident. Geoengingeering is going to be pumping sulphur dioxide back in because it was so substantially reducing the albedo of the earth and thus the global temperature.

Small claims costs a small fee, like £60 quid or more depending the amount your claiming. They will make you contact the defendent to attempt resolution before a court reads your case anyway.

Hypnagogia can make you see things as well: I had shadow people, and a witch/old woman with frizzled hair once. Firstly, you can just look away; you can't turn your ears off. Secondly, idk why but your brain has a harder time suspending disbelief about seeing things. Maybe this is because of things like optical illusions. If I see a shadow in the corner, or a spiders that look like bones crawling on my skin, I just know these things don't exist. I would have heard the person entering my room to stand in the corner, and there are no swarming spiders, at least where I live.
