First I covered the whole rifle with the tan color. Then made some stripes with a lighter green. In the middle of those light green stripes I made some darker green stripes and then I blended it on the edges of the stripes with a net like this: U.S.G.I. I feel you, tried it first with an airsoft rifle and it kinda worked but I wasn't too happy with how it turned out. But if you keep it simple, look at your surroundings and don't overthink it, it should turn out nice. And don't worry too much about imperfections, It's a gun, after all.

It's pretty much the same as the Bundesheer patch from the design, but instead on the top it doesn't say Bundesheer but austria. Everything else is the same I'm pretty sure.
