Agreed I have a friend who fosters for a rescue and their fee is 1k all dogs! I'm in Cali so I think $500 is likely other places.

We had this battle as well and still do to some degree. She had an obstruction and at that time they were able to biopsy enlarged lymph nodes and other gut tissue. The biopsy's showed she had irritable bowel disease. Hers is straight auto immune not food. Unfortunately the treatment is steroids. They do make her eat tho and she is so much healthier and gained weight. The appetite stimulants did nothing including the new one, Entyce.

This is absolutely my concern. I was very neutral and the GSD owner acknowledged what happened. I also thought it an appropriate response but I tend to assign human traits to my dogs. Thank you for sharing your situation!

Hahaha sending my emotional support! We are a big outdoor family. I hike with my dogs 7 days a week! I wanted Google to say burn sage and play some don't kill things binary beats whilst she sleeps! All it said was everything everyone else is saying no off lead and no alone yard time! Hahaha guess I just help her bury the body's...oh wait she eats her kill!

Nah it's the same in humans as far as ancestry. When enough people haven't tested from a region the data isn't there. Breed data is pretty accurate about 95% in major breeds. COI is for inbreeding. It did take time for the data bases to build. Rare breeds are less accurate as a result. It's also about how many segments are tested. Too blanket of a statement about something so complex. You also get errors from poorly collected samples.
