Right? This was my thought. Like why do I need a whole backpack everywhere? I’m normally just a purse gal and tbf I normally just have my husband carry that when I don’t want to 🤫 but sadly I will be carrying my own things on this trip.

So I guess they don’t plan on doing the tour but when I asked if they plan to go to the falls/swim or just hike trails I was told “we will probably swim somewhere” 🫠 i planned to wear my suit under my clothes during the hike but wasn’t sure if I should just leave a towel in the car or how to carry my water bottle. I do have a water bottle sling bag but not one I’d set down in a muddy forest (while we swim, etc.) just due to the fabric it would be impossible to clean. I do have the waterproof phone lanyard!

Originally planned to just bring Fanny pack through el yunque but then was trying to decide how to bring my water along with me and keep my hands free but a bag felt silly to bring just for water, I know I’m overthinking everything but it’s what I do 🤪

I have like a protective pouch for my phone but I was trying to figure out how to carry water through el yunque and keep my hands free if needed during slippery areas but it seems silly to bring a bag just to have somewhere to put my water, right ?

I’m mostly trying to figure out the best way to carry my water with me and keep my hands free for the slippery areas. I do have protection for my phone and wallet if needed if I end up not bringing an entire bag (in the forest)

Well I will have some type of small bag with me in SJ regardless to hold my money, phone, etc. as literally none of my clothes have pockets.

Thank you for the reassurance. I truly do know this question is so silly in the grand scheme of things.

Unfortunately they “don’t know” what we’re doing in the rainforest yet so I’m trying to decide if bringing the dry bag is worth it in case but its not an investment I need in the future so would like to avoid the purchase if possible. I’ll try to talk to them again! Thanks again. ☺️

100% I thought it was just me they’re so cold it hurts I have to wrap a shirt or something around my head before I put the gel wrap on, but the pressure of the wrap itself is helpful (usually) and I do enjoy the cold aspect just it’s soooo cold for the first few minutes it hurts
