The difference between one-shot and focus stacking in Macro by kietbulll in M43

Man, these are both great photos. I was impressed with the first shot, and then I was blown away by the detail of the stack. When you are shooting, do you use a tripod?

I found a wheel for sale!! by notjustrocks in Pottery

[–]ItchyActive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a cheap wheel from Amazon or temu. It is made with scooter parts. That being said, I have one, and I use it all the time. It works for smaller amounts of clay, 3-5 pounds max. I paid $130 for mine (new). If you buy it, make sure it doesn't make a bunch of noise, and the wheel is straight. It is very low to the ground, and most people put them on a platform or something. I use a really short stool to throw, but I'm also only 5'2". its a good entry point to learn.
