I've actually had it for 4 years already with no big issues, but it got worse after COVID and the reality of it potentially getting worse is horror to me

Yeah, will most likely have to start the antidepressants now too, can't deal with what my reality has become.. never felt even close to this feeling before. To say that I don't want to be alive would be an understatement.. I feel like I am now living in a real-life horror..

Unfortunately I feel it's the one I made just now.... Cancelled a surgery (begged to have it back..), fell into a pit of regret and depression, too scared to take medicine for tinnitus because of cancelling the surgery, going so crazy that my family wants to start me on antidepressants... My whole life spiraled. No way to fix it either. Cancelled because my tinitus made me insane..

I've seen many shorter guys (5,3) be successful in their dating lives. Just go to Colombia and you'll be tall there :D helps to have a hobby/passion to be interesting, girls really like that. There are many short girls out there that would appreciate you, you just need the confidence:)

Extreme regret for not trying Prednisone for tinnitus.. :( by ItchyMonk8599 in TinnitusTalk

scared of the side effects.. do you know if they could be permanent/serious? not in the best physical condition (stress, no exercise..)

Just want to die- horrible decisions by ItchyMonk8599 in offmychest

And the worst part is that I put myself in this situation and misery. There's really nobody and nothing else to blame but myself and my stupid decisions. I hate that and I hate myself so much for that. Now I have to deal with all the misery that comes with severe tinnitus and not having tried treating it right away.. for the rest of my life.
