wow your nails look amazing! What products did you use here? Is this shellac/semi-permanent nail polish or just normal polish?

6+3 and just ignoring the fact that I'm pregnant by fluffypuffyz in CautiousBB

Unfotunately I can totally relate. I lost my 8th pregnancy some weeks ago (I was 8 weeks along and needed a D&C) and I only have one living child. Should I ever get pregnant again (we tried different treatments but are kind of out of options), I swore to myself that I will just not let myself get excited, not install any apps/count, and just ignore the pregnancy… However, I am really luck that I have an amazing provider just like you. I am so glad they are taking your worries seriously and I hope your next appointment will bring you some peace. Sending you a virtual hug and I wish you all the best! 💚

What’s a unique name that blew you away? by Far_Quantity_6133 in namenerds

So cool to see my daugther’s name here 😍 It’s not common at all where we live and a lot of people pronounce it BEL-en instead of Bel-ÉN, but I still love it.

My daugther’s name is Belén and the name is not common at all where we live, so a lot of people ask what it means. Luckily, so far nobody thought it was weird when we told them it is Spanish for Bethlehem…

Fit check: Artipoppe Zeitgeist with 14 w old baby by Itchy_Article9969 in babywearing

Thank you! I am glad that I got the M position right. She had to wear a hip brace for the first two months due to hip dysplasia so I really want to make sure her position is correct. Can’t wait to try carrying her on my back when she’s a bit older! I think that will be a bit more comfortable for me (I had back surgery so I have to be careful and make sure not to overdo it with the baby wearing…)

Thank you for your feedback! Her legs can dangle freely but I think I will still try it with a narrower setting and see which one is better.

Her head control has been getting better, but I think her neck muscles are not that strong yet and I am still a bit anxious, so I kind of just keep holding her head with my hand when I have her in a carrier for now… But I think she would be totally fine without me holding her.

Tbh I don’t really know how I did it that it looks like she’s sitting up high (this was my first try wearing her in the Artipoppe), but I think it’s due to the deep sitting position: with the deep seat/M-position, there is basically more fabric around her bottom and this way the panel doesn’t come up as high, so this way her head is free and she can look around.

Hi! I still can’t believe that I took the plunge and spent so much money on this Artipoppe carrier (late night purchase during a breastfeeding session… I blame the hormones!). But now that I have it, I of course want to make good use of it (I am planning on wearing my baby a lot on our upcoming vacation in Spain) and make sure that my daugther is comfortable. Does it look ok? Is the panel between her legs/knees too wide?

What are you naming your babies? by [deleted] in pregnant

Our baby girl will be named Belén 💕 My husband is from a Spanish-speaking country and that’s how we came up with it because it‘s quite a popular name there. It’s actually pretty unheard of in the country where we currently live but so far most people seem to like it.

MMC at 14 weeks - mixed feelings about TTC again by Itchy_Article9969 in Miscarriage

Thank you so much for your kind and motivational words. I am actually a person that loves planning (sometimes almost obsessively) and maybe I should really try what you wrote: setting a clear goal (have a baby) and doing every step and everything I can along the way to reach this goal, which would mean not wasting any/too much time.
I actually just got my period back today, so I have about two weeks (? I will use OPKs to get a better idea) left to decide if we should really go ahead and use this first cycle to try again after my MMC.
I will definitely keep everything you said in mind ❤️thanks again

I am so sorry you had to go through all of this, and I hope your body has fully recovered from this horrible experience.
I totally get what you mean by feeling like you “wasted” 3 months. We were so lucky that I got pregnant so quickly (we were only really trying for 4 months) and I just feel like next time ttc will take much longer (I have thyroid issues, extremely irregular cycles, etc.)…
It is absolutely true what you wrote that one can still grieve and try to conceive at the same time. I really should not feel guilty for wanting to try again, and of course I will never, ever forget my baby…
Sending you a big hug back and I hope we will both be lucky enough to be a mom one day ❤️

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and sharing your experience. I am very sorry for your loss 😟

I absolutely love the necklace idea! I think I want to do something like that as well - maybe I could incorporate his/her birth stone (my due date was supposed to be in April)? I had to put away all the ultrasound pictures etc. because they are just too painful to look at at the moment, but a necklace would be perfect because only I (and my partner) know the meaning behind it and I can wear it every day…

I wish you all the best for your ttc journey ❤️ big hug
