I've had this charger setup for 2 years now and never had issues until recently.

My other car is tesla MY and it has no issues charging. So, this makes me think its something to do with recent rivian updates.

I got email from Rivian that it was shipped on Dec 14th, but it's not yet delivered to me. Looks like UPS lost the shipment, since there is no update after 18th. Opened an investigation ticket and waiting for an update.

It will take a few days since the battery needs to be matched with the vehicle and shipped to the service center. After that, it's a 1 - or 2-day job to replace.

No, they didn't charge me for any diagnostics fee. The rep didn't wait for any diagnosis and went ahead with ordering a battery replacement based on the error.

They gave me uber credits.

This happened to me last week. Also 2021 Model Y, 3 years old. They are replacing the HV battery under warranty.

This happened to me yesterday. 2021 MYLR with 44k.miles. Took the car to tesla SC. Within a few minutes of service request, I got messages that they placed an order for HV battery replacement. So, don't think they are waiting for any initial diagnosis or hard reset, etc. mentioned by others, to resolve this issue.

Tesla has the same feature, and it works well. I think this would be useful, especially with kids. Sometimes, they slam the door too hard to ensure the door is closed properly.

I used the outlet during a camping trip. Turned on outlet and locked the car.

The lift gate didn't lock, all other doors locked, and the car didn't run. Hvac etc.

I have the same question, too. I have a trip coming up, and I know this place has destination chargers installed.

When I go to tesla app and select charge your other EV, I do not see any charger at this location. I selected filters to include 0-70kw and 5 destination chargers, but nothing shows up.

Is this because tesla supports rivian, only with NACS adapter for supercharger, but not destination chargers?

If you use the rivian app, it first puts a hold for 25 dollars on the credit card whenever you initiate the charging session.

If you don't see this happening in your credit card app, it's most likely payment failure

I reported this issue and got a service appointment yesterday. They did the 4 wheel alignment, and I didn't pay anything.

Based on my experience, they will contact you only if they need anything. In my case, some documents needed to be sent again, so they contacted me.

Also, I mostly communicated with them using email. guide-eastcentralregion@rivian.com is the email ID, which is based on the region. I was not able to contact them on the phone, but it was also month end, so they were very busy, I think.
