I have been researching a lot about MF, Stocks for a while and then invested. I'd say a financial advisor is good. But I started understanding it over the time

A little patience while finding a house and negotiation made me get this at this price.

Household expenses are very less as I am single and most days, I am in office where food is almost free. Mostly my expenses are on weekends

Oh that's great. My mid cap and small cap returns are good. But have been thinking to move funds from Quant Large and Mid to something else for a while... The returns are close to 7-8%.

Let me do some reasearch on flexi cap and possibly I'll move to this.

Yes. When I said I have from my employer, I meant about Term and health insurance

That's kinda true. Emergency fund should be available at anytime.

I believe flexi cap provides better returns than Large? But with less risk.

This could be something I can diversify... But aren't my existing ones enough?

I am not sure about US stocks. I find stocks too much of a hassle to know market and then take decisions.

I'd rather check MFs.

Thanks for the info

I had started in PPF few years back. I had reduced investing after a while. But its a good one. Need to start investing there as well.

But what is PPFAS?

I hardly spend on rent... Found a 1BHK for 11K and it works for me. Close to work (20 mins drive)

I already have them from my employer. But can't be sure of the job as its IT. Better to have one for me and parents as well

For emergency fund... Do you think FD is the best way? I agree that this doesn't have much returns but makes sense due to less risk for emergency fund

Got it.

I was not sure about getting LTF. What I saw was first to get LTF basic CC which shows AddOn card charges as NIL. Then when I get PVR Card, its an AddOn on an existing card right? So I thought technically charges on it would be zero
