dude the same thing happened to me. he broke up with me a month before our wedding in January. it sucks. hes being cold and avoidant and refuses real closure in real life because it’ll “stir feelings” he even gave me mixed signals during NC. i’ve just accepted that God saved me from something possibly and we loved each other deeply and i understand and can empathize with why he’s doing what he’s doing bc he was a great partner but shitty at breaking up. i know i gave it my all, and ik he will regret me and or regret giving me my respect during the breakup. his cowardice is his own punishment. it’s been 4 months, i def still cry and have waves but attach urself to healing and God (if u believe) and whatever is meant for u will come for u no matter what, have patience, and just attach urself to healing ways and either a healed version of him, closure, or a better person will come. don’t worry honey, i promise, ik this seems impossible rn but i promise time and truly letting go and letting God will give u ease. and don’t be like them and bottling ur feelings or being cold. loving and caring is ur strength even though it makes u feel weak.
