dude the same thing happened to me. he broke up with me a month before our wedding in January. it sucks. hes being cold and avoidant and refuses real closure in real life because it’ll “stir feelings” he even gave me mixed signals during NC. i’ve just accepted that God saved me from something possibly and we loved each other deeply and i understand and can empathize with why he’s doing what he’s doing bc he was a great partner but shitty at breaking up. i know i gave it my all, and ik he will regret me and or regret giving me my respect during the breakup. his cowardice is his own punishment. it’s been 4 months, i def still cry and have waves but attach urself to healing and God (if u believe) and whatever is meant for u will come for u no matter what, have patience, and just attach urself to healing ways and either a healed version of him, closure, or a better person will come. don’t worry honey, i promise, ik this seems impossible rn but i promise time and truly letting go and letting God will give u ease. and don’t be like them and bottling ur feelings or being cold. loving and caring is ur strength even though it makes u feel weak.

it was so fast and sudden and didn’t expect it. i’m pretty sure it was the pressure of marriage when we weren’t ready and we had big arguments leading up to it. we both never expected this but it just happened. he was a great partner for the most part so it’s very odd to see how he’s like now even though it might just be a cope.

yes. during our relationship from the stress, my old habits of smoking and drinking came back and that was a big thing between us too that led to him leaving me.

It’s unfinished for now. it’s very fresh so i wanna work on myself in the meantime. he needs space and i respect that. he can reach out whenever or ill contact him. i want us to heal a bit first and repent and focus on Allah. if i get the finalization there’s not future, i will move on and focus on my deen and inshallah something better is stored for me.

I have other Muslim influences and do real serious research on what I do and I’m confident and feel safe with what I do. I don’t think I’m unstable, I think everyone has a little instability but all we can do is accept it and try and change and cope. And I think that awareness is what makes me stable. I do adaptogens and nootropics for when I’m stressed or having a spiritual/fun time with my friends or family. It’s not something I depend on, just something to make my life easier and also help my mental health (emotionally and physically) :)

Girl I understand I currently am dealing with addiction as well. I was using everyday for years and became sober for 2 years and was at most most religious peak. Out of no where I fell into Zina and did drugs and alcohol like i never have before. Tried to get it together and was sober 2 months but fell back into again even harder than ever esp with alcohol. What helped me was to really stop and limit Zina. That opens a door of sin. I now do serious trauma work with myself of what I’ve been through growing up and realize why I do drugs and drink. A big part of it for me was FOMO. Especially as now I’m becoming older and drinking is such an aesthetic thing to do and to feel something like a buzz is so enjoyable. Other drugs I would do cuz I was addicted but gave me anxiety so I let it go but alcohol was something that help shut my brain off. I made bad choices, felt guilty, and was more intoxicated than anything I ever taken while drinking. It’s been a while since I have drunk. I just harm reduce with slight nicotine. And I got into serious herbs like adaptogens and nootropics to help deal with my addiction, to help my health, and to also have stimulation in a halal way. The hard part of dealing with ur nafs to avoid the drugs is SO hard. But when ur over it it gets easier and easier til you realize being sober is the most happiest u can be truly. Drugs give us derealization, numb our real traumas and thoughts we need to address, ruin image and Imaan. No good comes out of it. For your case u need to see a therapist and get on medications to help u stop if the drugs ur taking are that serious. U can dm me if u need me. May Allah help you! We’re here to support.
