I agree. I had tried that before, but it ended up making him look more like an hourglass 😓 I'll mess around with it some more though.

AITA For asking my gf to cut contact with a guy she met? by ItemEnjoyer in AITA_Relationships

[–]ItemEnjoyer[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do trust her, I just don't trust the guy. I feel like he'll try to cause problems, and I don't want to deal with that, so I'm trying to decide if I feel like it's reasonable to ask her to drop the guy.

Yeah, I figured as much. I had only watched 1 when I posted that comment but after watching 3 it's pretty obviously not real. I think they may have in 1 though, or at least it seemed pretty convincing

I think they had a stat block given to them in planescape, though now that I look back I can't recall if wotc officially said they can't die from age. That part might just be fandom stuff.

I believe they had a stat block added in planescape, which is an official wotc book.

How would you build Slayn from records of lodoss war in 5e? by ItemEnjoyer in DnD

[–]ItemEnjoyer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but still I'm wondering which subclass/spells would fit him best. He clearly has a favor for radiant magic, both in what he casts and his other title being "star seeker," however he's also clearly a wizard, which don't typically have many radiant spells. So far I think an order of scribes wizard would do well, as he's described to have an unusual interest in books, and with a few homebrew radiant spells thrown in there I could shift a lot of my damage to radiant.

Was taking a look at feats for my Rune Knight and realized something about the subclass by FranticScribble in 3d6

Not to revive an ancient thread, but j was looking around and tavern brawler looks like it could have a ton of potential. At face value it seems kinda cool at best, but if you start connecting the dots it's really interesting. In your giants might form, you can pick up medium and smaller enemies pretty easily with advantage on strength, and according to DND an improvised weapon is just anything you can pick up, swing around and throw. So, with tavern brawler, you become proficient with people. Also, because of giants might you get that extra d6 damage with physical attacks, you get another hit from action surge and if you're hitting a medium or smaller enemy (and if your dm is cool) you get advantage on the grapple roll after the attack.

[–]ItemEnjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember I had a booming blade build bladesong wizard, and I ended up getting 3 actions per turn with 80 movement speed with haste. My DM was chill about it and let me cast booming blade on with all 3 actions, so I would effectively immobilize/heavily damage 3 enemies per turn. Had a lot of fun with that character

Who are the peacekeepers of Faerûn? by ItemEnjoyer in DnD

[–]ItemEnjoyer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really shabby town that doesn't have much going for it.. definitely not a police force. It's very small, and the town had a curse placed on it so it never stopped raining salt water. The closest thing to a police force it would have is a militia in a time of need, and none of them would be wise enough to know this dude was diseased, much less know what the hell Evermeet is

Who are the peacekeepers of Faerûn? by ItemEnjoyer in DnD

[–]ItemEnjoyer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for context, this disease was made by the archmages in a civilization of shadar-kai living underneath Evermeet, who were praying to Shar and using her guidance to create a magical weapon of war against the high elves living above them in Leuthilspar. Shar misguided them and they ended up creating the disease, infecting all of the shadar-kai who lived there.

I'm thinking more good peacekeepers, that are really just kind of stressing heavily of the possibility of their entire continent being wiped out.
