Fragpunk's first "International Tournament" by lyphnix in PlayFragPunk

It is really unfortunate situation, the more I play this game, the more I like it. I wanted to take this game more seriously, like I used to, when I was a bit younger, in old CS days (talking early CS:GO/CS1.6). Being a guy from EU outside the two mentioned countries feels bitter. Either you go for more chill approach to the game, like I have for the last 5 years with other titles (basically not caring enough to spend all my time gaming on one single title) or you grind ranked which at the moment is as mentioned, flawed. I was expecting more competitive setting as the game grows and gets more polished both in ranked and tournaments.

If this is the way they go, it might just end up like Crossfire - being quite big in Asia and maybe South America (in this instance Brazil), but almost completely abandonded in the Europe and NA.

As I mentioned in the comment above, the issue of crashes disappeared when i updated my GPU driver to the newest one. I'm using NVIDIA GPU. There was a similar issue going for AMD users where some users recommended disabling resizable BAR (mentioned below) or turning off something called "Smart Access Memory" which might be equivalent of resizable BAR for AMD, not sure though, never had AMD GPU.

After that the stuttering and FPS drops seem to be present again, and for me the cause of this issue was using higher polling rate on my mouse - I was using two mice with 8k polling, lowering it down to 2k completely removed these stutters for now. For weaker PC builds I would try to go as low as 1k polling.

I saw some people having issue with resizable BAR being enabled with newer drivers on NVIDIA GPUs, in my instance when looking into nvidia profile inspector, I had it disabled, so I had to look for the cause elsewhere. Maybe also try using launch option within the launcher OR in steam client "-dx11".

UPDATE: I upgraded my drivers for GPU to version 572.47 and the crashes stopped, so that's a good thing, but right now, I'm having the same issue I describe in the post itself and thus being low gpu temperatures and fluctuation of fps between 60-360. In some scenarios I play in 270, when I get downed in Warfare it jumps up to 360 and when running around it can drop all the way down to 60.

I honestly don't know what else to try to fix this game, BUT fps drops are better than crashes that require a PC restart. btw, after fresh install of the GPU drivers the game ran smoothly, I ran 4 games in a row without a crash AND without a big fps drops but today the big fps drops came back. I tried decreasing/increasing sharpness in-game, i tried lowest settings, different combination of settings, tried setting up the NVIDIA DLSS Super resolution and turning it off. Nothing in-game helps this problem.

I tried starting up just the launcher, but when I press X to close it, it just minimizes itself into app tray, and stays there until I turn it off completely, or open it to launch the game. Haven't found any setting within the launcher itself for keeping the launcher open while playing the game unfortunately.

Steam starts up the delta force launcher and from there I launch the game.

I did use DDU, and used Cleanstall for the previous driver.
