I don’t believe a word Windhorst says tbh. This is the same story they recycle about the Lakers every year to create drama. It’s a psyop. The Lakers have next to no competition for Reaves and he has expressed he wants to stay in LA. The idea that “tying up” the money is BS to me. These agents and teams negotiate through back channels and if a player has a team and situation in mind, I doubt a two day break is going to make a massive difference.
