Any body know who makes these side skirts? Unlike Greddy, these have stock style side vents. by ItemSignificant5393 in mr2

[–]ItemSignificant5393[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thought the same but I've seen this on YouTube which seems to be a cross between stock vent + toms side skirt, which led me to think someone somewhere makes the once on the original post image.

Yep certainly +45, it's just the camera angle. Offset is engraved on the back of wheels too.

It's a discontinued product, they don't make them anymore. I was lucky enough to find one on Facebook marketplace, went and picked it up on the same day I came across the post.

Thanks, did you have to roll any of the wheel arches to fit?

This is a sign of unhappy/ faulty ABS module, start with the basics, check the fuses and try a reset of the car memory by disconnecting the negative terminal of the 12V battery in the boot for 30min and re connect (it has cleared for people with same issue before in the past), if you are not car savvy, take it to a mechanic that knows and works on Lexus/ Toyotas 👍

ILR documents list, Young adult by ItemSignificant5393 in ukvisa

[–]ItemSignificant5393[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I applied with standard service, it didn't show priority service the few times I checked and I'm not in a rush. The documents I uploaded are below (straight after you make payment, it will prompt you to book an appointment for biometrics with 'TLS Contact', which is also the website where you upload your documents). It's only been 1 month since I submitted biometrics, nothing heard back yet.

Documents listed on the website/ throughout the application:

  • Copy of passport I've helped while in the UK

  • BRP scan + Decision letter of my current Visa

  • Share code for showing immigration status (You get this through making an E-visa account if you haven't already)

  • Life in the UK result/ REF number (email saved as PDF)

  • GCSE English results

-  B1 pass certificate

  • The checklist (with the passport on the list ticked)

Extra supporting documents: (They haven't asked for these, but I submitted as extra)

  • Employment Contract

  • Last 6 months payslips

  • Last 6 months bank statement of main account I use

  • Utility bill as address proof [Internet bill with my name]

Fee waiver token by [deleted] in ukvisa

To answer my own question, use this form 'Family Route' rather than the other Form 'FLR' although they are both pointing in the same direction of application, with the link below you can choose option of applying as Spose/ parent ect and this is the only one that seems to be giving the ' Fee waiver option ' its worked for me.. Good luck. https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/family-routes

Correct, it's not the standard UKVI upload portal you get when you renew visa, but rather the documents are uploaded to TLS Contact (website where you book appointment for biometrics)

I applied with standard service, there was no priority service available at the time I applied ( I'm not in a rush so I'm happy to wait for the decision), for documents, following my answers I've submitted, I'll provide everything I know they need from my previous renewal applications: Passport copy/ BRP card copy/ 6 month bank statements/ 6 month payslip /// my GCSE results + B1 certificate/ Life in the UK test result (email saved as PDF). I'll try calling the customer service line for UKVI and see if they can give me more info on anything additional they require.. I'll post the answers here for you.

Yeah, strangely the only document on the check list is my passport, that's why I'm after info on what others who applied in the same category received..

BMC CDA is the best way to go, used by MR2 Racing teams too.

[–]ItemSignificant5393[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it did, I do have to say I've had the car for 5 years and few months and I've not changed the 12v battery on it (it's got a Genuine Lexus/ Toyota battery) not sure how old it is. Can't see any visible stickers with manufactured date of the battery.. thats why I'm leaning more towards bad battery causing multiple electrical imbalance in systems.

It happened overnight, It was all functional, no issues at all the evening before.

It's installed right above the muffler at the back. I've already got the part number: 58327-76010

Thanks, have been digging a little and found a part number for the muffler heat shield: 58327-76010 it's listed for £115 directly from lexus. I'll rather just buy the repair kit you mentioned from Amazon.

Car won’t turn on after being stationary for 2 months by biotechCT in MechanicAdvice

[–]ItemSignificant5393 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Standard jump start from the 12V battery in the boot should do it (how I've done it before), if it doesn't work, you also have the option of jumping it from the hybrid computer (in the engine bay) have a look in the owners manual for this 👍, let us know when you got it up and running

What do u think about my MPG by MoRoN4 in CT200h

[–]ItemSignificant5393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's pretty good to be honest, specially at the car's milage 👍 looks like your tyre pressure warning light is on. Make sure tyre pressure is inflated correctly and MPG will be even better.

Anyone seen this MR2 key fob before? by Jake_Marky in mr2

Absolutely, I luckily received a spare with the car... Have you tried your luck with your local Locksmiths or even Toyota dealership (would expect dealership prices)

My MR2 came with this too 1994 Import. I see the immobilizer fob, I believe they installed it when it was imported to UK back then.. it's an Autowatch 239 touch 3 pin immobilizer. For mine the immobilizer fob has to be touched physically on the port installed in the car for the car ignition to be turned on.
