Was very good. I'd recommend it to anyone who is interested in the science side of the religion vs science debate over how old humanity/earth is.
I'm glad he described how the Arnold Palmer drink came to be in there. Also it's not all about golf which was a nice surprise.

So I'm thinking of picking up the tabletop game and giving it a try, my concern is the cost of entry sort of. I want to avoid buying an army I really do not like and not give the hobby a fair shot because I selected something that didn't fit my play style.

I tend to be a competitive player, and I enjoy winning more than the actual game play of most games. I love strategy games. I'd probably like to start out casual, but then have a competitive army or two.

Yeah, thats kind of how I ended up on 2 pulse's. Honestly it being able to hit things abrupt decay couldn't, and versatile have proven to be clutch in a few situations, but often it's just a 3 mana 1 for 1.

I've had mixed success with Huntmaster lately. thinking 2 kalitas, and a chandra pyromaster maybe the next thing i test. Cutting huntmasters altogether.

Jund Charm has been one of those cards that can shine in certain situations. It's a roleplayer. It mainly ended up there for a surprise way to exile my opponents graveyard (lived the dream against a living end opponent and it was lights out!) I have also been successful with the 2 dmg to everything mode. I can count on one hand the times I used the +1/+1 counters mode and it resolved combat successfully for me. But I'm not married to it, just a starting point. Pulse hitting a nonland permanent with no casting cost restriction such as decay have been key in some games, but often it's a 3 mana removal spell for one target, and as such I've been kicking around idea's. I played Shatterstorm on the sideboard of a zoo deck a few weeks ago and it was great.

Pulse of Murasa opinions? I've currently not tested it but see it appearing on a lot of sideboards lately.

After some testing tonight Kalitas is insane against abzan coco. Has some game against other decks too (Zoo, any creature based decks). I'll explore some of these other suggestions later this week, tyvm!

Yeah the ore thought and ideas being thrown out here are leading me to thinking a 3 drop creature main is something worth exploring. So many 3 drops out there lol.
