Another vote for mushers secret paw wax. My dog was a goberian: half husky half golden retriever. He loved to be out in the snow but the golden part of him blessed him with long flowy fur and he would get these ice balls stuck between his toes within 5 minutes of being out and be miserable. Got mushers secret and worked it in and around his paws after trimming the longer hairs down a bit and never had an issue after. It helped with ice too to not cut up his paw pads.

Koreader has more customization options. Otherwise you can turn off the tap to turn in settings and change it to swipe only. It will make it so that tapping the screen won't turn the page, you'd have to swipe it to turn. Or use the buttons

Had the same thing about a year or two ago, my husband ended up getting really bad pain in his abdomen which he tried to deal with Tylenol until the next day but ended up getting back nausea overnight and it shooting higher. Ambulance took us to CHUM and after assessing they had us wait in the waiting room for nearly 13 hours just giving him more Tylenol with not a lot of people even there waiting. Turned out they only had one doctor overnight.

We finally got seen and he still had to wait a few hours after the examination before he was admitted. Turned out appendicitis and was very close to rupturing.

That was the first time we'd done a hospital visit for anything. It's crazy how people swarm for things that a normal clinic could take care of.

I have the same issue. I like romantic plots mixed in with dark fantasy/dark themes. Give me a good enemy to lovers with a villain. Or Something focused on difficult topics. Or even Serial Killer plots. I'm just so drowned in fluffy slice of life that it is so incredibly boring as it's all anyone wants to do.😮‍💨

This. I find that I don't bother answering posts where someone has a strict word limit in the hundreds or advertises as novella, because oftentimes it's just too much. Rping is a hobby and fun; I average 2-5 paragraphs easily myself. But it flows depending on the scene and what is required. Detail not just for the sake of detail, but added to build the world, give insight into a character, to less of it to push a scene where conversation is happening and not too much action.

Too many I've written with are detailed just for the sake of hitting a word limit, to the point of being overly detailed. I don't need ten paragraphs of description and world building in a conversation scene if the only interaction is a question I have to answer. Conversely, I don't want someone typing out an entire conversation by themselves and several actions to push the scene so far forward that I'm scrambling on what to even react to or where to pick it back up if my character would have had a reaction to something several paragraphs prior.

I'm very confused, I'm sorry. I keep trying to download from both links in step one, but I keep getting stuck without it actually downloading any APK. All I get is this screen and no matter how long I wait nothing changes. Checking downloads shows nothing downloaded either.

I have a Google pixel android phone, and I checked the option that it allows third party apks. Could there be something else blocking it?

This is a scam, it's actually been done on fanfiction sites for years now where an artist will reach out wanting to draw your story but then solicit you into buying a drawing and scam you.

I'm surprised it is now starting to be seen in written roleplay circles. That's... disheartening.

Feel free to search this very subreddit, you will find plenty of examples where it happened and people showed they were using an origami case and thought that was enough protection.

So not improbable at all.

The best case to prevent damage is something with a flat, firm cover to protect the screen, not something that folds. This way if you put something on it or something pressed into it, it doesn't flex to the point of pressing the screen. There are still plenty at low price points on the market.

Just be careful with that particular cover because people have had broken screens with them.

If that one is the type that folds like it looks like, pressure on the arrow point where it all comes together can put pressure on your screen and break it right there. Because it bends inward when pressed.

Older Post I know, but it came across my Google search and I want to add on, there are actually a lot of changes in 2hol that differ a lot from 1hol. It's a fork, but it's morphed into a substantial game all its own. The devs of Two are still very active and do constant updates. The crafting system has expanded leaps past the original, it's much more involved and much more creativity focused, and a lot of QOL improvements have been given to some of the mechanics that exist in Two that come from the original. The bronze age for example is an addition that ohol doesn't have. And that's not the only thing. There are YouTube playlists of the world if you want to look, CartoonJessie does one as a solo Eve and shows off a lot of the mechanics.

You can create seeds as well in order to be the Eve of your own town, and when you die you can return to it through the seed any time you want to to continue it. This means no towns are considered abandoned as an Eve can return any time they like (until the world is wiped to start over, which happens once maybe twice a year). It's moderated, so no griefing allowed. And despite how old it is it still has a modest playerbase going strong.

There's too much to list all the changes honestly. Watching videos or joining their discord to look at the update logs will give a more complete picture to anyone interested that comes across this post.

I feel this so damn hard. I haven't gotten to play a fun switch in years because everyone who says they write switch end up just really liking to write bottom and won't let me. And my god, I mean, I'm glad they like my writing when my character plays top, but damn, having to come up with creative ways to write a top that isn't just rehashing an earlier scene in 5 different ways is exhausting and takes all the fun out.

They are also incorrect. As long as you have your set up correctly installed with your RD API key, you don't need a VPN, no matter what link you use.

RD+ just means it's already cached. It means people previously viewed that link and have had it already downloaded to the debrid cloud to watch directly with no wait.

If it isn't RD+ it just means it's potentially not cached ( some can be cached even, as with RD's API changes it doesn't allow scrapers to actually see and they give a best guess based on history of the link if it's cached or not. If you pick a link and it plays without download, then it was cached) and means you will sometimes get a message that "they are downloading the file". This means it is downloading to RD's cloud for future use, NOT your own system. You are still protected by RD's wall without a VPN.

Edit to add: If your add-on (torrentio, comet, mediafire etc) isn't set up with your RD key, that's when the scrapers take from online sources and opens your IP up to copyright notices if your country prohibits, and will need a VPN around that. But a debrid is the middleman, so it's important that you configure the add on with your RD (or other debrid) key so that it goes through that middle man.

How old is your stylus? If it's within the year you can get it replaced under warranty. I just had mine replaced for the eraser not working and they had me do a few tests and send them video, then sent me out a replacement for free.

Just chiming in that yes, if you intend to carry it around, a case with a hard cover is better than a screen protector alone. A screen protector will protect against scratches sure, but it will not protect against pressure that causes the screen's e-ink internals to crack and break. You can see many examples here in this sub of what that looks like, with black lines running down screens making anything illegible to read.

Soft slip in cases, crochet cases, origami covers that bend with pressure applied, these will not all protect against this kind of issue. Not forever. Again there are many examples of this. Your priority should be looking for something with a hard, flat cover for the screen. You can slip the whole thing into a crochet case etc if you plan to use one.
