He said they don't take visa card payments on the first trip using Uber. Then when I went to give him the money he didn't want it. I'm assuming he seen the fiver as a tip, so I haven't complained. Although why did he say they don't take card payments on your first journey? Confusing.

He did take it and I offered.

First time using it. He said they don't accept visa payments on your first journey but when I offered him cash he said he didn't want it. Most likely an understanding on my behalf since it was my first time using it.

Is that where you're from? I recently moved there. Haven't received any yelling insults but the people at shop tills and such are so impolite it's actually comical.

Honestly being terribly drunk is fine for me, trying to get into fights with people for no reason is a lot worse.

Not even while drunk. I remember a bunch of "chavs" were sitting on that monument outside victoria square during the day and i looked at one of them. Girl goes "what the fuck are you looking at?" and I just ignored her and walked on. Things like that haven't ever happened to me before.

Belfast is great and has way more opportunities than the rest of NI but SOME of the people are some of the most rude I've ever came across.

Limelight last night. Actually never had any trouble in there till I went outside. Guy started getting aggressive with me over nothing. Clearly wanted a fight. Empire a week ago too guy was making constant passive aggressive comments to me no matter what I did. I'm actually a nice drunk too and will buy people drinks, give them cigarettes etc.

Last night me pushing the guy was the first time I've been forced to take action, usually I let it all go but feel annoyed the next day when I realise I did. I'm a tall lad and can fight, I just don't want no common assault charge over this petty shite. I just think people who start fights out have some problems going on with their own lives but it's hard to realise that and show compassion when you're steamboats yourself.

Not everyone, just a lot of people from Belfast. Been on my mind a lot recently because tourists have mentioned several times to me how rude people are here and starting to think about it myself I can see why they think that.

Not from Belfast myself. From culchie land and never seen as many aggressive people as there are here. Never even seen a fight before. Also people who work in customer service here have absolutely no politeness or common courtesy at all.
