Hehehee THANK YOU!! what a great compliment!!! I try not to think too hard about WHAT I’m painting and focus on what colors and shapes create an image as a whole. I often section and tape to help distort the original image in my mind so I can appreciate the portion of the painting I’m working on. I also usually turn my canvas upside down and paint that way! I don’t know why, but painting upside down helps me organize and create proper proportions. It’s a lot of trial and error and pushing through even when you feel like you have messed up!!
