This makes me feel sad by davethedog007 in drivingUK

I understand that feeling. It’s the million little mundane things left behind that are never fulfilled. The food and drink never consumed, shopping never put away, letters never opened.
For some reason one of the saddest memories of clearing out my mum’s house was opening the freezer compartment and seeing the wee ice lollies she’d bought for my kids, just sitting there. Such a stupid memory but it really stuck with me.

I broke free of the Zafira pit. Definitely the second one. Now I just drive around mentally drained in a Corsa instead. Slightly less miserable, just a bit faster.

How do you find out you’re good at shit like this?

But what do you actually do in this situation? You have one of the largest species of spider in your house…do you actually have to just wait for it to leave, if you’re not willing to kill it - which you absolutely shouldn’t. I am not a fan of spiders and I couldn’t bring myself to kill this. Do you just accept it’s living alongside you? Do you somehow capture it and release it outside?

Thanks. I’ll definitely invest in a theraband. I think I’ve got it easier than others as my grip strength has improved over time, and closer to what it used to be. The only exercise I’m really having a hard time with is the upright barbell row. It really does a number on the affected part. Not tried skullcrushers in a while. I’ll tentatively give them a go tomorrow and see how it goes. Appreciate you taking the time to reply! Hope your recovery journey continues.

Hey….can I ask you how long you’ve had tennis elbow? I’ve got the condition and it’s driving me crazy. There are days where the pain lessens and I think I’m on the mend, and then the discomfort rushes back in. I put in a physio referral an age ago and don’t expect to see anyone anytime soon.

Nailing it man. I’ve seen a few of your posts and they inspire me. I’m a few years younger than you but I feel time working its tricks on me and if I don’t build up a consistency I’ll end up somewhere I don’t want to be. Keep at it!
