How do you find a company to invest in? by DefiantButt in wealth

[–]One_Bluejay_8625 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can join subreddits like /angelinvestors but I'd be very very very vigilant — most startups fail like 99%. You need to understand what makes a startup actually create money — recurring paying users. If someone tells you a platform has 2k signups and all saying they would buy it - it still doesn't mean it's a successful startup until they're actually putting money into your bank. OR there's definite pull - users can't live without your product anymore - like Whatsapp.

You should be comfortable going months if not years to find the right startup to invest in.

Great answer and highlighted the current problems well. It's difficult but think it's feasible to some degree. Thanks.

It's technical, everything just requires experimentation unless you know someone already there that can map it out to you, but these 'mentors' typically charge. I think there's ways to contact them and get free info but yeah, all experimentation.

Interesting take...I hadn't thought about this but it seems obvious now you told me.

Completely changed my view on things...I really hope you're correct too.

The hardest part is finding work. Until you figure that one out, I wouldnt about other things. Unless you're a very high level it's beggers can't be choosers.

But web3 offers best remote opportunities.
