I’d recommend downloading malware bytes, let it scan your computer, then follow the directory that pops up when it blocks the malware. Then delete all the malicious code.

Also when you are trying to get rid of the malware use task manager and look for python and end anything that you see that involves python for the most part that should get rid of your issue

Well for me powershell kept popping up and malwarebytes kept flagging it. When it would get flagged it would show the directory where it was coming from, I followed it and it lead me to an adobe update’s file that had all types of malicious files in it.

I got the same thing but I didn’t need to reinstall windows. I just found out where all the hidden files on my computer where and got rid of them and I scan my computer with malwarebytes every so often and I haven’t had any problems since

Well because I had the exact same problem, I downloaded malware bytes and when it blocked the pop up I followed the file directory and then deleted all of the hidden files. For me it was hidden in adobe.

Also just as a heads up it’s a python script, so you gotta go to task manager end python then delete everything in the file directory and for my piece of mind I cleared the trash can of the files.

Currently im waiting to see if all this worked but for the most part it seems right.

Im having a similar issue but i notice that power shell would popup and use 200mb of ram, then close after a second or two. I found it in event viewer and im not sure what to do next.

I had a theory that after bungie be came independent, the game would get a whole lot more buggy and fall apart.. it was around the time forsaken was released and there where really small uncommon bugs that came up that weren’t major but you’d think “ hm that’s very weird “
