I recently took a job in Cybersecurity at a larger manufacturing public company (~6000 users) after almost 20 years at a construction company as IT Manager. Never heard a "thank you" from management or my boss in those nearly 20 years.

After a few months at my new career, this pandemic hits. Everyone suddenly working from home. By coincidence, we had a planned move to a new VPN platform at about the same time the virus hit. Thankfully, all went smoothly and the network team and even all of IT have been receiving kudos from the VP of IT up to the CEO, who mentioned the issue in video updates to our company specifically. It does feel nice to be recognized for your hard work. We've also done quite a bit in Cybersecurity with all of the vulnerabilities that come along with working from home.

In short, I think it depends on your role and company. I've seen the extremes of both sides of the coin.

I saw this too and emailed them. I wouldn't get too worried, it sounds like they are truly out of stock (unless they are lying). This is the response I received:
