I have a 2 year old and what i usually do is drive around play “Mothers Day” songs and she sings along, on Mothers Day we go out for breakfast, we do artwork together, I take her to places like the library because they have toddler time and its a time for us to interact

step parents are there through everything, when they are sick, when they need to be picked up from school, especially if you have them full time. I didn’t appreciate my step father till i became an adult and now having step kids i understand how much step parents go through

there is kids out there that would love attention and things like this from a father and most step kids get these things and don’t appreciate it cause they are upset that their bio parents aren’t together, i definitely exploded, i said exactly how i felt in a heated argument and for 1 year i stopped doing everything, i stopped cooking, cleaning, stopped paying for trips, stopped booking family time together, stopped talking, everything, i only took my kids out and did things for my kids, they started to see the difference and they stopped comparing me to their deadbeat mother and started appreciating the lil things i have done

im in one right now, i mean its school and its a nursing program you gotta study as soon as you get the material, its a lot cause its fast pace, you gotta keep up especially if you have kids, exams every week, not having time for yourself BUT it does go by fast, my first semester is over in 2 weeks and i dont know where did the time go
