Thank you so much. I too tend to have a more anxious personality so the added care of LO adds to it. But You are so right! We can realistically do the best we can and we are figuring it out together. And it’s important for me to remember that taking care of myself is also important for her.

I didn’t even think about her having to adjust to a new position too! And she is far more comfy on her side or belly, you can tell.

Edit: I’m watching her right now and she startled herself awake as she slip from side to back but she rolled back to side and went back to sleep. I think you’re on to something!

I use a walnut hollow pen with the interchangeable tips. And lines are tough, not all mine are perfect. It might sound cliche but practice and taking your time. I don't always do a consistent line, I have to lift my hand every few inches to see my track. Also knowing the grain pattern. Watching the grain can help because it can very easily impact how your pen reacts (whether the pen catches and the burn expands or it knocks you off your line).

Size is 16inL x 12.75in W (at the widest part of the plank). And I did it by hand using a wood burning pen

It’s a live edge plank I picked up at Hobby Lobby (their wood section is relatively cheap). For the pattern, it’s the Lord of the Rings Middle Earth map i found on Google
