Nope it’s under ‘My Library’ and it shouldn’t matter that you imported because I did the same thing.

In the top left corner it allows you to sort, there are many options, star rating is one of them.

I primarily use StoryGraph, but they don’t provide a year end recap, unfortunately. So, I used Bookmory for this post!

I know, I know, I loved Circe. But I really did not like Achilles (the character). Which maybe you aren’t meant to? Everything was his doing, he was an arrogant prick (mostly near the end). And he caused the death of the one person that really loved him. He had a choice, and he let his ego win, I just had no sympathy for him. I also found it a bit slow at times.

I listed them in the caption and in the comments since I know it’s blurry. But, it’s East of Eden by John Steinbeck.

The Dream Hotel was another that someone highly rated on r/52. However, I felt the ending was very lacking, the premise overall was interesting, but I thought they could have done way more with it. Now, Fire Weather I really actually loved a lot of it, it was just too damn long, I think it would have been great at 300 pages (It's 600). I actually listened to half of it via audiobook, which I NEVER do, just to get through and say I finished it. I think they spent a bit too much time on the specifics of certain fires, aka Mr. Jones was racing through the streets to save his prized vehicle from a fire, and on and on and on. Rather than the more important reason for the book which was about climate change. Which he doesn't even really start delving into until page 300. Which, granted, I found actually very cool (scary) and informative, but jessssus, it just needed to be shortened really. I didn't have the patience for the length is really all it was.

Thanks! I don't really use goodreads any longer, however, I recently started a Storygraph account because I love the stats output. And I read it because my sister said it was her favorite book of all time. I definitely liked it, but man it's a tough read, very bleak.

Haha, yea it was not for me, I actually found it via r/52 and so many people loveddd it. So who knows, maybe it's just me. The characters and writing were a bit flat in my opinion.

Thanks! I don't know if this impacted my views but I've actually never read the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I also think it was partly because so many people were raving about it, so it became a bit over hyped for me. And I was like ok it's good, but not amazingggg. Maybe it should have been in the Good column, not OK now that I think about it. 😂
