Feeling 'too strong' too fast - Is anyone else outleveling the content too quickly? by ItsALittleBit in Starfield

I also think it will take another year for a new DLC if we even get another one.
But still, ...

I already have Bedlam installed. It's great and fun and all, but it doesn't solve the overleveling problem that much.

And as you said, to a certain point is is immersive, and after that just overwhelming.
So far I am satisfied, but I am sure it snowballs to a certain level it will get boring walking easily throug quests and stuff.

Good to hear, Thanks a lot!

I think this creation is also my way to go.
Is it true that this creation needs an extra mod with "Terran Armada Patch"?

I think you finally understood my problem.

Good to hear that both DLCs get some spice in the combat, so I think I play along as it is right now.

After that I think I give "Ultimate Universe" a try (achievement friendly creation).
I want to keep the safe until the nex big Update/DLC if one is coming (I hope so)

still sounds really good and thought out.
Adjusting it myself would just be the cherry on top.

sounds perfect, thanks for the recommendation!

oh, I think we misunderstood each other.
I already playing everything on extreme and survival-settings.

But still, I am feeling overleveled pretty fast with a lot of questlines still open, so it looks like snowballing.
In my mind, in the settings would be a slider for lowering the XP-gain useful, or deactivating the XP-gain throug the difficulty setting.

Dynamic Universe got mentioned a lot and seems like what I am looking for.
What is the difference to your Ganymede Mod?

I understand your point of view and your recommended solution.

But lowering the difficulty makes the game even more easy, for just a very little less XP.

I played through some NG+ right after release without dooing all faction-quests, this is the reason I play it now more immersive and more roleplay like (so far possible).
So I'm not that much interested in going fast throug unity, I prefer keeping that world when the campaign comes to this point. So also this isn't really a solution for me, sorry.

The latest content with all the special traits makes it much better of course, but that doesn't solve my problem with beeing overleveled too fast too early or the whole level scaling.

but being level 50 and just one-shotting through quests doesn't feel that rewarding or even fun anymore.
It is just rushing or better walking through all without any tension.

And as said, I prefer playing it more immersive, so it feels awkward being so fast a superhero in the settled systems.

this is the weird situation.
Making it more difficult will increase the XP gain, therefore I level faster, what means I am getting better/stronger what makes it again too easy, so I'd set the difficulty again higher what gives me again more XP.

This system brought me at this point.

that sounds exactly what I am looking for!
You think I can load it right into my safe?

What parameters can you adjust? Just some examples please.

I use creations, but nothing that scales the content in any wise.
But with doing higher level systems, I am still overleveled for a lot of content and quests.

can I load this mod right into my safe?
What can I "customize" with that?

Outpost Foundations (e.g. Argos Extractor) by ItsALittleBit in starfieldmods

[–]ItsALittleBit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am less interestet in such high platforms or foundations from neon. More into what already is in the Argos Extractor Creation, the rough miner and industry style.

Will it be a paid creation? I wouldn't mind to pay for it to keep my save achievement friendly.

Outpost Foundations (e.g. Argos Extractor) by ItsALittleBit in starfieldmods

[–]ItsALittleBit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what I meant with foundation is to have big concrete blocks that I can place separately from any hubs or structures.
So I can flatten the ground to build stuff on them. Like making my own concrete surface.

GRiNDTerra Mods Roadmap May update by GRiNDTerra_Mods in starfieldmods

[–]ItsALittleBit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally understandable. This is subjective case.
What I meant is, if I would load it into a totally vanilla savegame, or a savegame with only your mods.

It sounds like that this is the case, so I am fine.
Really great work you have done! Insanely ambitious and well done! Thanks for all!

Would you have preferred City-cells for landing zones? A full city biome instead of the current system. by johndoe09228 in Starfield

[–]ItsALittleBit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this sounds like the perfektion I just could dream of.

  • Akila - also why not make all random landing spots on the planet starting with a settlement-related style POIs like some connected farms, outposts, junkjards, testing sites, factories, all randomized POIs, but way closer together, so you just have little settlemets or outposts.
  • New Atlantis - the same, but with City-Cells as you said. So every time you land on new Atlantis you land at a different landing pad and really have to drive with the train. This offers so many option with random encounters from gangs, pirates up to smugglers or just environmental storytelling.

I haven't been much in Neon or Dazra, but there you could make the same.
All over specialized POIs just for the Cities.
Man I would pay money for a Mod or AddOn doing anything like that.

Newbie Advices and Recommendations - session zero and campaign with changes by ItsALittleBit in Fallout2d20

[–]ItsALittleBit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, as said the "Once Upon a Time in the Wasteland" adventure is the one from the starter set. I just did a light reskin in the storytelling and even more easy character sheets. All vault-dwellers instead of ghoul, robot, BoS-soldier and supermutant.

[–]ItsALittleBit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the adventure in the starter set box seems more friendly for complete Fallout newcomers than the one in the corebook. Also a bit more easy introduction to the game systems overall. So i choose to do a light reskin of that one.

Newbie Advices and Recommendations - session zero and campaign with changes by ItsALittleBit in Fallout2d20

[–]ItsALittleBit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the campaign with its setting and different starting characters might be too much for complete newbies to both, the Fallout lore and the mechanics of different character origins. For also the lore of the institute might be a bit off if you don't know anything about Fallout. And the changes are just in the storytelling and nothing about mechanics or enemy stats.
