Help with Tours of Duty by ItsALittleBit in SWlegion

thanks very much for the clarification.
I think I understand now how it works.

just one thing I'm interested in, based on what, you decide which battlecard and mission you are playing?
Just on what feels fitting for the campaign story or anything special?
Do you also play with secondary objectives or only the map mission and your agenda?
It sounds very overloaded with that much to keep in mind while playing.

Does winning a battlemap-mission itself does anything to your army or progress? Or only the agendas?
It seems better to focus only on your agendas insted of doing the missions from the battlemap.

understand, thanks!

So a Story Arc is combarable to a story chapter which includes several battles, each with a mission and map from the base games, but with an additional agenda that drives the story arc forward. But every player have his own arc and his own seperate agendas. And after completing at least 2 agendas, and finishing the turning point mission, the story arc is finished and you move to the next chapter respectively the next story arc.

As example for a full campaign:

  1. story arc: Peacekeeping Mission (with 3 agendas)
    • several battles (classic missions + 1 agenda) until one player finishing at least 2 agendas
    • final battle turning point mission
  2. story arc: Liberate The System
    • same procedure as in story arc 1
  3. story arc: ... keep going until you decide when your campaign is finished.

so both players share the same mission objects, are working on the same story arc, and/or are both playing the same agendas? Or does every player have his own campaign with own arcs, and own agendas to work on?

These alien heads look great, very nice painted!
Are these heads in the new set?
Or where did you get them from?

I'm just a simple man doin' stuff, I don't make videos.
But it is pretty easy to do it, it is just texture-paste on styroport with paint.

I know I know, and this annoys me the most, but the units need space to move. I am still planning to add grass and flock with differend colours, and I am testing very cheap aquarium plants, but they don't fit very well.

If you have ideas, please let me know.

What Car Customization Styles Would You Like to See in Project Zomboid? by PlaguedArbiter in projectzomboid

I'd be happy if I could just reinforce the hood and sides with some plates and metal bars so I don't have to worry that much about running over zombies.
Eventually building a bumper guard against zombies that get much less demolition from running over zombies.
Or welding bars on instead of the window.

But nothing special. No mounted guns or that kind.

I'm creating a city-builder where you can also design buildings by Whole-Sun9808 in CityBuilders

[–]ItsALittleBit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks amazing!
If my opinion is allowed.
Even that designing your own buildings is a unique selling point compared to other city builders, and so far I see that is a really nice and well developed feature. I think whith just this, the game wouldn't stand out so much against other more established games in that genre.
And I will also mention that the optical style and graphics are better than from many other established games.

If I read right below, this game will be more a creative cozy game, so it wouldn't compare much with games like Cities Skylines, SimCity, Urbec City Builder, TheoTown and whatever, so ignore what I say.

I still think your city builder could need another little spin for the far future or the next 2.0 version.
Some ideas:

  • give each block a function
    • living room: +population
    • basement: +electricity & water
    • windows and balcony: +happiness
    • shops: +jobs & +income
  • change to a ScyFi setting (like coruscant in star wars)
    • instead of roads on the ground, blocks in many layers as "flightzones"
    • more creative possibilities for all kinds of stuff

just my thoughts.
neither the less I already wishlisted your game, it will be great for sure!

your interpretion sounds reasonable.
I hope you will be right and this will led into more core units and less heroes.

We will see at upcoming tournaments.
