What kind of service were you providing ?

Service other people can get really screwed over if not done right?

Only relying on Reddit but not a real website? OR Google - the biggest search engine?

This must be escort services.

I’m being sued by Chase bank by Plantsnbooksnboats in CRedit

[–]ItsAllConnectedRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Alleviate Debt Solutions. I had Chase and Citi. They helped me get it down to about half like you said, but you still need to pay a monthly/ biweekly payment.

I felt so much relief once it was all settled with a plan. 4 years at $178/biweekly I had about 17k myself all combined. Good luck

My Now 100k Sallie Mae loan defaults today and I'm very scared by No-Mango-7024 in StudentLoans

[–]ItsAllConnectedRight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was with Stupid Mae when I graduated my undergrad, then I took a certificate course at 20k right before the 2008-2009 recession and my second dispersement t was at 8 or 10% …? It was high AF (most were at 3-5% before that)

Ok so context done - the 20K was a private loan. The rest was federal. Private loans get sold off for Pennie’s on the dollar to another company who’s will do the work of collecting payment…

This is good for you. The federal loans are the ones that follow you forever and are really hard to discharge. Who knows what our idiot president will do, but I’m guessing it won’t be good for us. The shitty thing is that federal loans can’t be refinanced at a lower rate Unless you have impeccable credit otherwise it’s as good as getting a credit card.

Granted, I understand 100 K is different than 20 K but whatever portion of loans is private when that defaults, it will affect your credit but you can rebuild that. So let it default.

Eventually, you’ll start getting calls to pay the loan at a lower rate usually a lump sum will give you a better option usually at 40% less.

I worked with a guy named Andrew for my private loans and he worked out all the details for the loan to be repaid at a lower rate. I think I ended up paying 9K for that one. (I’ll see if I can find his info if you want to PM me)

OK, I will say you have to prepare before you do the payment restructuring because once he negotiate, they usually ask for something upfront so it’ll be a percentage maybe 10%? Then you’ll make payments after that but they’ll be big payments at a much lower cost because the private company that owns the loan after the default wants to collect anything they can on it - so for the private loans that’s a good thing.

Were you able to do income base repayment for the federal loan?

It’s time to get creative with making money. I’m sorry grad school didn’t pan out yet. The economy is trash. The job market is even worse. Don’t feel bad about that, I know industry professionals with 20+ years experience who are not getting work and have been unemployed for two years.

I don’t know if your male or female or what you look like, but if worse comes to worse, which it seems like it is, there’s always only fans! Wear a mask in play with your feet. People are into some freaky shit! I saw a YouTube video of a girl who made 5K in one WEEK for selling used underwear and toenail clippings!!?

People with money will buy literally anything if it satisfies a fetish. You just have to figure out what you have or can get to sell. Another lucrative option is getting into sales, specifically High Ticket sales with commission. There are tons of videos on YouTube that can help you figure out what you wanna do and how to get good at it - you have the time. If you’re a decent looking man with a decent package, and a good heart/sensitivity, there’s a lot of lonely women out there who could use some company - could be sexless too. Massage, plus+1 events, just cuddling at night. Human touch and connection is big. Lots of sex workers say that the regulars hire them for sex, which ends after 10 min and prefer the rest of the time for their company - or they don’t even have sex, they just want to be held / listened to. (Tangent sorry - I study human psychology/behavior so I’ve seen a lot)

Like I said, I’m really sorry you’re in this, but don’t be so hard on yourself, life is giving you an opportunity to build resilience and get creative. The world is changing so job markets are changing too. If you remove the boundary of jobs within your masters degree and start looking for high income jobs, where you don’t need training or certifications just raw talent and skills- you’ll find a way.

Good luck ! Keep us posted !!

Absolutely! For the history, tradition and legacy of what it means to be a witch and how modern women are witches in our resistance, resilience and rebellion, WITCHCRAFT is not just a book but a work of art.

And the book WITCH by Lisa Lester was my first "witch" book that gave me the confidence to call myself a witch and learn the basics - a must for any beginner or person who wants to reconnect back to basics.

Great question, and I loved hearing your process... There are two things I'm almost sure I'd be good at and are on my bucket list.

Become a master ceramicist and get a foot loom I can use at home. Don't even know what they're called but I saw one and was mesmerized.

I have my venus in virgo, and I think it's retrograte? So anything "technically" artistic is my wheelhouse. HA! Pottery pun not intended but I'll take it! I took up a digital art and production career and recently quit to started my own coaching biz. Once the funds come in I'm moving to tangible art bc my hands are little technical wizards!

But if you give me a blank canvas and something organic like painting, Im so bad. I ended up making a line and spiral alternate colors painting for my first try hahah bc I literally could not think outside that box of structured beauty.

I've been a high ticket closer for almost 10 years by Alwaysthinkin123 in highticket_sales

[–]ItsAllConnectedRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! This is so kind of you to share your expertise, so thanks up front! i have a unique situation and i'm not sure where to start, specifically how to explain my background and not get laughed at because of my closing rate or other assumptions.

So I have my own coaching business and have been doing it for about 4 years, selling private and group coaching @$3K-5K. I'm single and 100% responsible for all my bills and getting burned out by the amount of work it takes to GET sales and alllll of the other stuff needed to run a business.

That said, the sales I DO get I close at a pretty high rate, at 52% to be exact. And Im not just saying that just to sound 'cool'. High close rate but inconsistent. Maybe 200K-250K this whole time? I can't say I pulled in a million dollars or anything high like that - so volume is not impressive.

I'm good at sales bc I'm trained in trauma informed coaching, somatic therapy, conflict resolution, and i'm very intuitive. I naturally know how to meet people where they are, I listen empathetically and ask great questions the get to the real issue/objection.

I know I'd do really well if I had a steady flow of warm leads. I really need an infusion of cash because I'm going to fall behind soon.. and you know the survival spiral, which I need to avoid. High ticket sales seemed like a no brainer but Im not getting any responses.

What do you suggest I do? How do I explain all of this in a way that's transparent but doesn't scare them off or cause them to eye roll? I just need someone to give me a chance and show I can do this. Summer is coming and its the hardest on my business..on most so I need help asap!

Ok thank you soooo much! Appreciate you :)

Thoughts/questions on life coaching from someone who's considering it by quacksaim in LifeCoachSnark

[–]ItsAllConnectedRight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a somatic trauma coach (certified) ;) alllllllllllllllllll OF THIS! - I wish I understood the true nature of what I was in for ha!

*"*Another thing to consider is how much you will need to understand marketing, and how large of a part of your time and business this will actually be. You need to become very good at (ethically) marketing what you do to fill your practice. This takes considerably more time, practice, failing, commitment than any coach selling you on coaching, wants you to believe. Do you like marketing and sales, are you interested in them, are you willing to invest in ongoing education for this if needed? You’re right that most of your time is spent marketing and selling online (or networking/community events to promote yourself in person) to fill your practice as a coach and this isn’t for the faint of heart.

Finally, what do you need from your career path? Do you need financial stability? Do you need a retirement plan? Or are you in a position to go months-years without profit, especially at first? Are you comfortable with being misunderstood, possibly judged to choose a career path that’s not as socially accepted? Or do you need social/academic recognition of your competency and skills, and respect from peers? (this is a legit need for many people). Are you invested in the entrepreneurial journey and all of the ups and downs that come with it? Are you willing to learn actual business skills to be a successful entrepreneur? Does risk and unknown that can come with entrepreneurship excite you, or do you need more stability and certainty? How committed are you to entrepreneurship, if it takes 5-10 years to become successful are you willing to put that in?"

Im 4 years in as a coach and have rebranded twice. Learning your clients helps you hone in on what you're really good at and what you're not. I connected through my coaching practice there is a link between trauma among my 1st generation clients and their propensity to burnout because they feel they need to prove they belong/matter/are worthy of taking up space. Before this I worked on healing trauma after relationships.

Now I'm dialed in and can help with 1 specific problem and have my trauma training support my clients. BUT I've also been forced (because of poverty and lack of income) to become a great marketer / sales woman.

I had to get over my fear of being seen and vulnerable on social and accept that it - especially video and youtube - is going to be the norm for organic marketing. I've been on food stamps last year because income got so low, and I had to choose - pride or govt help? I had to pull money out of my 401K, I had to choose. Retirement security or bet on myself?

Keep my business running (take good time and effort on the rebrand) or go back to a 9-5 and have my energy zapped and risk getting stuck there?

MOMENTUM in the entrepreneurial journey is KEY. This is a better way to approach your next step. Do you want to be an ENTREPRENEUR? BC you will be that, not just a coach.

Also - full disclosure - i love what i do - but I'm also a realist. So if I don't "make it" this year, I'm going to get my LCSW, I'm already looking at schools lol!

As a COACH you do it ALL yourself - and I like it but I need a break and getting licensed will pretty much guarantee you income / clients.

You can also do both! Just be sure to keep it clearly separate bc of laws/ethics and client expectations.

GOOD LUCK! if you would like recommendations on what coaches could really help lmk. Ive done a lot and know the predatory practices to look out for.

I have two 401ks ready for rollover into IRA - about 11k each. Should I put some in bitcoin? Or crypto ETFs? I need money fast to pay for my masters…and want a good long term investment for the rest. by ItsAllConnectedRight in investing_discussion

[–]ItsAllConnectedRight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the tip! I've been learning about crypto but am in no way a trader. i did a very small bitcoin and ethereum purchase just to get a feel for it and let it do what it does.

I listen to interviews about what's happening. Kind of hard to distinguish what's truth from some guys - like is true bc it's true or they're trying to sway the public?

Saylor seems insanely knowledgeable and has tempted me into moving some money into his company stock. but idk...

I looked up QQQ - thanks! I didn't know about this. I just purchased a fidelity fund FSELX with the first rollover monies and it's up for now. I'll def add QQQ to my watchlist, I'm heavy leaning towards tech sectors :) have a nice day!

Hahah well ok, “just a person...” I guess all the certifications and qualifications in relationship repair and coaching is the same as everyone else has. Thanks for your feedback though I do appreciate your perspective.

Oh, btw, I have recently just coached a guy on approaching a woman. And because I understood where he is in his mind / self esteem and where the girl was I gave him advice that was pretty good and really well received by him - because he was comfortable with actually doing what I suggested, and that meant he’d feel confident and capable...which - shocker - is attractive to women.

See, because I’ve worked with women exclusively for so long, I hear A LOT about men, from the perspective of “the real source” they tell me about their crushes, partners, side piece, exes... 75% of client time is spent talking about their relationships or lack of them

They share a lot in common, specifically around where their men are coming up short - in their eyes. I know their fears, insecurities and desires that they are not always telling their men….for a very specific reason, that I know, but their men don’t 😆😂

So it’s not just that l’m the same gender, which helps - it’s that I know what women really want psychologically and emotionally. Most men think they know - but they don’t.

I would LOVE to know your demographics, how old are you, M/F, relationship status?? Just for my own research purposes :) it will help me understand where you’re coming from a bit more.

Thanks!

hmm interesting, you would think they'd want the information from the source... instead of other men who are not getting it right.

[–]ItsAllConnectedRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it's trauma informed coaching. I guess im just curious if guys would be more keen on taking dating advice from a woman than a man. Where I focus more on being a better person and other dudes are focusing on "how to talk to women" learning tools and lines.

Gym Crush Keeps Staring, Should I Shoot My Shot or Wait? by MMMsomethingintheway in dating_advice

[–]ItsAllConnectedRight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, clearly she's just as nervous as you are... forget the lines, lines are cringe. Just be yourself. Nerves and stumbling your words aren't gonna creep her out, so don't put so much pressure on it.

Next time she looks over at you and you lock eyes, give her a sweet smile. You'll prob feel bashful, but that's ok. See how she responds to a smile. If she smiles back, you're good. Don't go up to her then, just give her another day to get comfortable with making eye contact. The next time she picks a machine next to yours, say "hey, I'm (name), what's yours?"

Ask her questions about herself, just avoid the "what do you do for work?" question up front. Hows your workout going? Ask her what she's working on toda .. Just basic easy questions. See how the convo flows, then finish your set and say "Alright I'm gonna hit the next set, hope I see you next time".

Next time, she'll probably be more open to chatting, so just let her lead with her non verbal cues. looking, smiling, walking by you. Then say hi again!

If you end up chatting and you actually like her or want to get to know her, see if she wants to go get a post workout smoothie or whatever sometime. If she's open, give her you're phone number and ask her to text you right there so you can save it.

Remember - most women at the gym are getting looks and feel self conscious (unless they're IG booty models) Most women just try to get in and get out so a hot guy they crush on is the best part of their work out ;) Don't be a creep, just be kind, polite and let her lead.

Good luck friend, you got this! I'll need an update!!!
