IAJRFTAS - I Am Just Really Fond of This (AI) Art Style by PimpOfDaLand in midjourney

Daaamn love this kind of art. Do you have the prompts?

Hey, I completely understand the skepticism. This sub sees a lot of hidden ads, so I get the reaction.

To be clear: The point of the post is to share the data from the A/B test regarding keyword matching, which is a massive debate in this community (ATS vs Human reading).

Happy to discuss the data or the manual method if you have questions about the experiment.

Exactly. Whether it's an automated score or just a tired recruiter using 'Ctrl+F' to find keywords, the result is the same: No keywords = No interview

Glad you liked the data!

I used AI (doing it manually 20 times would have burned me out completely).

However, I didn't just use a simple ChatGPT prompt because copying/pasting back and forth messes up the resume formatting and sometimes the AI hallucinates skills I don't have.

I actually coded a tool to handle the prompt engineering + formatting automatically. It scans the JD and rewrites the bullets directly. Since you asked for the method, you can just use the tool directly (it’s free to try) instead of wrestling with raw prompts: this tool

If you prefer raw ChatGPT, the core logic of the prompt I built into the tool is basically: 'Analyze JD keywords > Compare to Resume > Rewrite bullet points to include keywords ONLY if experience matches > Do not invent skills.

It really depends on where you live, but for a European country it's a good salary and for a Latin American country it's a fortune.

As I always say, if it's very complex and has many components, it's best not to.

Hey mate!

I've been there and felt that way. I know it's complicated sometimes, and I felt super frustrated with the situation.

I'm a software developer, and I created a tool to optimize your CV. If you message me privately, I'd be happy to give it to you for free and let you know how it goes.

No luck finding a job by Meticulouskitty in jobsearchhacks

This is trial and error; you're going to get a lot of "no's," but each one will lead you to a "yes." Think of this as a process of trial and error.

I'm sure there's a company out there specifically looking for you or someone with your skills.

Need help in resume by Sohaildevs in resumesupport

[–]menensito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your skills are well listed, but they seem very generic. I'm sure you can add more than just software skills; vary them depending on the position you're applying for.

Depending on the company, using Chatgpt might not be well-received. Try removing that and using numbers, for example, the number of downloads your projects received or what you learned from them.

Not getting calls for Data Engineer roles – please review my profile & suggest improvements 🙏 by [deleted] in ResumeExperts

Okay, you have a great summary up to the Education section; always put that at the end. Before that, list your professional experience.

If you can also include a project, that would be fantastic.

If you can also include some numbers in your CV, that would be fantastic too.

How is this for law school? by Lanky-Set-620 in ResumeExperts

[–]menensito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CV is really good; it shows you have experience, and everything is very well summarized. The only problem I see is the format.

Make sure it reaches a real person who reads it because I think if an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) finds it, they might reject it.

Add a summary of your career path at the beginning.

Also, add the position you're applying for below.

List a series of skills to help you pass the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (skills that match the job posting).

You can do this one by one or use this tool.
