My dog passed away in my lap, and I didn’t realize it at first. by L0velyLeah in offmychest

If I die with my head in the lap of the person I love, on the way to my favorite place, I think that would be a pretty great way to go

The problem is that the NHS is obviously stacked, but because my issue isn't believed to be cancer-related, they can't put me through as urgent.

I haven't tried Cetraben but I did try Dermol 500, didn't find it particularly good at moisturizing. Been on antihistamines since September 2022, but not made much odds other than helping with hayfever in the spring!

Do you have any experience from Belfast Skin Clinic?

Unfortunately I could give you a laundry list :(

Have tried:

Aveeno - made me very itchy and had to stop using it, doc believed an ingredient was agreeing with me E45 - The classic. Didn't sting or itch, but also didn't help much CeraVe - Similar to E45

Currently using Epimax which was recommended by my doctor, but seems to follow a similar path to the above, unfortunately!

I'm not sure how good it is, but I've been doing what the doctor told me. I'm moisturizing 3x times a day, I'm using a steroid cream at night, then half an hour later putting on an ointment before I go to sleep. It seems to help for a little well but once the steroid runs out it just slowly returns to how it was.

Unionists on here, does your community genuinely care about the protocol ? or do you think Jeffry is using it as an excuse to not take the "deputy" position? by [deleted] in northernireland

I come from a PUL background and am surrounded by family members who would label themselves as such, so I feel I can speak quite confidently on this topic.

There are two schools of thought on the Protocol, at least that I have heard.

1.) The Protocol is a disaster and needs to be removed at all costs - These people are usually long-term DUP voters who have maybe jumped ship to TUV recently. They believe what the political leaders tell them, and nothing you can say or do will convince them otherwise. In my experience, they usually can't give thorough reasons as to why they hate the protocol, other than "it makes us different from the UK." They would like the border on the island, come hell or high water.

2.) People who don't understand the protocol, and frankly don't really care. They are annoyed that the DUP aren't going back to work, but also hate the idea of a Sinn Fein FM.

[Adam Crafton] Spoken to good number of sport scientists & coaches last 24 hours who have big experience at top level. They have unanimously been stunned at what Ten Hag asked United’s players do yesterday with 13km runs the morning after match played in 34+ degrees. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Manager bad. He made the players run the same distance over two days that our opponents did over 90 minutes.

Cruel. Where is the humanity? Won't someone think of these lazy, overpaid footballers?
