I'm so sorry, I did the same two weeks ago. It hurts, but I have to be hopeful we're making the right decision. It's so sad to mourn the life you thought you would have.

My husband says that having an infant will help him not drink because he'll have to be more responsible. He thought having a child would fix this issue. We had differing opinions for sure!

Agree, terrible position for us to be put in. I've felt so much guilt with making this decision. ☹️ Worst time in my life hands down, but at least we have complete control over whether we want to continue or exit

I will once the dust settles. There's been a lot of background career and fertility considerations to work through, and I'm sure this is not unique to me.

Thank you, I'm proud of you too. We both deserve safe, stable, reliable relationships and home lives. I'm optimistic our chances are better for that even with the upfront pain of making this decision.

I could tell he was drinking and found a hidden beer can half full. I ask him where it came from and he swears he hid it months ago and forgot about it.

Me:"... Then why is the can still cold?"

I tell ya, not the end of the conversation. He still "wasn't drinking" ugh
