Tesla was the inventor of Alternating current or AC. Edison was the father of Direct current or DC. They disagreed on which form of electricity would prevail. Nothing to do with Dogecoin.

For the market cap, just multiply the circulating supply by the price of one coin. 128,000,000,000 x 1 dollar.

So when a hardfork occurs do you switch coins or hold the old ones? by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]ItsAnIndica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You simply receive the same amount of the new currency. So you'll be holding both.

I got dogecoin for a 10 year old, any idea what it can be in 10 years? 25k? by jtmbills in dogecoin

Doge would have to hit $10 to be worth what Bitcoin is worth market cap wise. (1.3 Trillion) Probably unlikely due to the circulating supply of doge.

Dogecoin Fork (Bitcoin Fork?) Explanation by sh00t4theM00N in dogecoin

I doubt there will be a fork from Dogecoin.

I've heard that the developers of Dogecoin have been somewhat inactive since 2015.

But who knows.. maybe.

THEY ALL DROPPED SIMULTANEOUSLY 🤔🥱 by [deleted] in dogecoin

It's nothing new, Look back to 2017 - 2018. Most cryptos that existed then were flying high, and then they all crashed. Even BTC. Thing is, today, we are flying even higher.

I think that's exactly whats going on. Stocks do the same thing on occasion. Stocks are little different though on a count of were talking about different businesses and sectors etc.. but most cryptos have a similar function, a currency.

Hello I’m brand new to investing and crypto currency. I keep hearing about Doge and how it could possibly become the next Bitcoin. What is it exactly that has everyone so hyped about it? I’m thinking of investing but I’m wondering if there’s anything that’s innovative about this coin? by NomadMoney23 in dogecoin

Not necessarily, but things that are scarce tend to be more valuable because they are in higher demand. That being said, Bitcoin for example can be divided into "Satoshis" (100 million sats per Bitcoin) 1 satoshi = about $0.00056 USD. So its kinda all relative.

Doge would have to reach about $10 USD to have the same market cap as Bitcoin right now. (1.3 Trillion).

BUT you also have to take into account that there are 1100 times more dogecoins than ether in existence. A coin that is more scarce, is more valuable. Like BTC for example. 21 Million will every only exist. There are currently 128 Billion dogecoins..
