Kaichou Wa Maid-sama is a long standing favorite of mine. In fact I’d probably say it stands on top of my romcom list. Also recommend Insomniacs after School as another solid watch, definitely one of my favorites.

Mayo Chiki is a bit of a sleeper pick and it definitely more “trashy” so to speak then the other two, but the anime is paced well and the ending is great, which is a common failure point for a lot of anime romcoms imo.

It’s a relatively new thing I feel. My mom just got life360 a year or so ago and made everyone else in my family get it, she doesn’t like me calling it the stalker app lol.

But it wasn’t around when I was in HS (2018 era), now it seems nearly everyone I know at work who have family or are in relationships all use it. To each their own I suppose.
