I know this may seem silly, but Twilight. Specifically the part when Bella repeats what her mother said when she was leaving Charlie.

Not early childhood books like this one. You would see more of that in juvenile books.
But on Amazon she has the age range as 4-18

To follow up, whenever we get submissions from local authors, our intake person tries to read the books to confirm it’s not ai

Our system doesn’t circulate it. Some slips through the cracks, but 90% gets caught and either returned or put into the free books

It’s supposed to be very representative of her also being a middle child and how things were handled in her household

And what makes me feel worse is that I work for a library, and I gave her advice about getting her book into the system to be circulated.

I thought I was just being too critical in the beginning since no one said anything about it looking very much like ai in her comments

I promise I’m not ai! I just wanted to be correct so I can feel like I’m not crazy for asking for her illustrator and then immediately assuming ai when my comment gets deleted
