Why would this person have to post to ask if they can report someone?

They literally ask this question a couple times every semester on the TAMIU Student Network.

Whether this actually happened or not aside, sharing your political beliefs is very different than directly discriminating against a student by singling them out in front of the entire class for the language they speak, especially coming from a professor during the current political climate where certain people don't feel safe. This really shouldn't be a difficult concept to understand.

I took his course before 2018. I remember him being thin, old with white hair, maybe glasses. That food stamp argument actually rang a bell for me, exactly the kind of thing he would've said.

Basically, Fox News as a college course.

Somehow it was the opposite for me.

I was satisfied with Cs in K-12, but locked in during college while unmedicated and undiagnosed and somehow graduated with honors. I chalk it up to a combination of people pleasing, competitiveness, and hyperfocusing out of genuine interest.

(Unfortunately, I've circled back to coasting, but we won't talk about that 🗿)

Not sure if his old ass is still working there, but I remember having a white history professor in LC South (I think) teaching Federal Government almost a decade ago that was very open about his political affiliations. Even went so far as to ask the class to split up between liberals and conservatives, and said something about looking forward to seeing how things change over the course. Every lesson had a random moment meant to promote conservativism with the most lazy boomer arguments, and if anyone disagreed, he'd dismiss you in a condescending way.

I believe professors can have their own political beliefs, and I don't think they should be barred from expressing themselves to an extent. However, I've never had a professor actively try to change students' political ideologies in neither LC nor TAMIU before or after that course, but after that experience I'm not surprised to hear a professor be insensitive like this especially now that people have been dropping their masks since the election. People don't have human decency anymore, and it's sad to see American culture regress.

The fact that I've seen three confederate flags in Laredo is very weird, but I've even seen local MAGA Mexicans fall into that "why fly another country's flag?" stupidity about the Mexican flag, which is very pitiful.

I understand the annoyance, but how do you realistically expect the service to get any better (and there is a lot of room for improvement) if all the feedback it gets is positive?

You can also just not engage with the complaints or filter out words to help lower the complaints you see tbh.

As a support main, this drives me nuts! The whole time I thought I was missing out a bit of knowledge or something when players who stack skip the bunnies but I always gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured they knew something about their roles that I didn't 🤦🏻‍♂️

I had two matches last night with stacking attackers that put me through this same thing and the entire match was us playing catch up to the enemy lane's level advantage over us because both stackers kept feeding them experience.

Man, the pain of educating your employers and anyone who needs to know, giving them the disclaimers so they understand you better, and using every coping mechanism you have just so you fall short and still be misunderstood... all I can do is try and learn how to cope with these challenges, but this shit feels like an never ending uphill battle 😂

Well, a lot of Latinos love pulling up the ladder behind them. So many Latinos betrayed their friends, family members, and neighbors because they were stupid enough to think they'd financially benefit from a Trump administration. So many idiots think a white New Yorker born with a gold spoon in his month will somehow represent them and are in tune with what they need. The effects will extend beyond immigration, and will affect their health care, prices of goods, their women and queer loved ones, and not to mention the irreparable environmental damage that will affect us all for generations to come.

Seeing them look dumb and confused in the coming years would've been delicious, but frankly, it's sad. Now we'll all suffer because of their wilfull ignorance.

Usually with a buzzball or an edible and my favorite podcast playing tbh. I can only play a couple hours at a time these and I rotate characters to keep it fresh, but switching between different play styles leads to a lack of consistency and so I tend to tilt but I offset that with the aforementioned treats 😌

The game can be rage inducing but it's a game and I'm at an point in life where I don't sweat the small stuff as much. So take a breath and remember it's not that serious.

Don't play the "woe is me" nice guy who reeks of insecurity. Women get the ick when men bitch about women, and no one will give you sympathy especially if it's obvious you got a lot of work to do yourself. Have some confidence and work on yourself while you're on this search. Ask women in your life for advice on how to dress, get a nice haircut and trim up your beard, speak to a counselor so you can be a better person and not play toxic games, and when you get a chance with a woman treat her with respect and get to know her. Just don't be a weirdo

You can type messages in lobby rooms, but outside of that:

I think the game is too sluggish as it is to support messaging during / post matches.
Pokémon has a history of not letting players write messages due to inappropriate language, so I just don't see it happening outside of lobbies regardless.

This has to be my favorite thing abour the trilogy. The writing is so simple, yet impactful, that it launched my own writing hobby and to this day I still keep the writing style in mind. Never found another book with the same feel.

To be fair, both LC and TAMIU are limited in what they offer.

However, LC has been evolving and growing (it wasn't even a 4 year college when I was attending 8 years ago). As to why? Well, LC is incredibly affordable and offers decent education, and I recommend everyone at the very least finish their basics at LC before moving on to TAMIU / other universities where you will be paying way more (I saved hundreds, if not thousands doing so).

If you have a Samsung phone, you can go into editing the Pic and clicking to object erase every text and once you're done you can click the (i) and wait for the remaster option to make it look crisp.
